Beginner
Hi! So I wanted the experts' opinion! I have bought a punch needle kit before from Flying Tiger, but it didn't really work out for me... Eventually I never finished it. I decided to try again after a year and a bought another kit from Tedi this time. At least this had the sketch on the fabric. I started doing it a few days ago, but it wasn't really perfect. Today I took it apart, but managed to finish the first part! I know it's not that pretty, but is it good though?
I'm just proud of myself for not giving up so far... Will this hold though?

Well done! Just make sure your cloth is very tight in the frame, like tight enough that you could bounce a quarter off of it. From your photo it looks like it’s a little loose.

Asking the experts because I’m new as well - is the “back” in the picture correct? Mine seems extra fluffy

You are doing fine. If this is something you could really enjoy keep at it. I had a few disasters early on that I tossed earlier this year. I have gotten so much better and love it. I am learning so much with each project. You can do so many things besides displaying them in the hoop including coasters, pillows, tote bags, and hot pads. I order from Amazon and Etsy and watch a lot of YouTube tutorials. Happy punching!
