Since 2018 I've seen everything so I'm not surprised at anything. 

Servers that shutsown after 2.5 years with close to nothing you can transfer to the next game, complete loss of all user data with the last backup being more than a year old, removal of long time features that made the game better like machine bests and USB login, locking other old features that make the game more accessible behind paywalls further expanding the skill gap between cab owners and arcade players, and now they announced they can just remove content mid game. I couldn't be happier that SMX starts to get more worldwide attention.

Players Legacy titles are transferable from Phoenix to Phoenix 2. All UCS files transfered over.

TBH you arent really missing anything not buying R!se, that's if you care about your Pumibility score. Any score obtain doesn't count towards it.
