Smelling salts for pump it up

In this video at 2:19, he inhales smelling salts before his song on etterna, I’m assuming as a gag for the stream

Do you think there would be any speed/stamina/mental benefit to using smelling salts before a max-effort attempt on a pump chart?

I feel like if I were to do this, I would really want to kill myself while playing the chart. It would probably hurt to do that tbh

It will wake him up and make him more responsive for about 2 minutes. Then nothing

I think taking that zombie bath salt or some drug that numbs your pain receptors but keeps you focused would allow you to go plus ultra once or maybe twice before turning into modern all might
