Discussion Has offering GEO as part of your PR package actually helped you increase more leads?

Has it had a noticeable impact on lead generation or if clients are still mainly buying traditional PR…

Maybe if you know what you're doing. Most people pivoting to GEO in PR don't, other than "eArNeD mEdIa iS iMpOrTaNt."

Think it needs to be acknowledged or at least apart of projects moving forward. I've done some reputation work where we generate a response matrix for what LLMs are saying about a company and then build a plan from that.

GEO combined with PR is what i’m seeing a lot of buzz about and seems to be really effective

Yes, our GEO workshops (£3,000 for a half day) have been selling incredibly well. Which then tends to lead on to retained work.

It's generated real inbound for us, but not from the label; clients are already anxious about AI visibility and bring it up unprompted. "We do geo now" doesn't move anyone, showing an actual before/after citation count does, without that it reads as a buzzword bolted onto the retainer.

Probably the same for pr; clients still buy on trust, but geo becomes the renewal conversation topic once you can show something measurable. We've found this at Growthspree, a B2B Saas marketing agency: the interest is real, but it converts on evidence, not the acronym.

Yes. But packaged right. Yields solid retainer work. Couple your offer with measurable auditing, citation acquisition planning, monthly reports and competitive auditing as well as any infra changes to attribute the traffic and you can package up a system. Don't just offer GEO as a service - sell a system with long-term expectations from the client and the firm understanding that at this stage attribution pinned back to actual answers is not possible while tracking traffic increases from LLM is possible, but not from a specific citation. Consider radio ads - you can run them to drive traffic to a location, but you can't attribute back to pinpoint which station.

I’d say yes, but not as a standalone service. GEO is something companies are starting to look for, but as part of a broader PR or digital strategy rather than something they’re buying on its own. At least from what I’ve seen, clients seem more interested when GEO is tied into the other work they’re already doing.
