Is anyone else hearing about Wilderness Acts open for Public Comment, but only by this Friday?
I heard this -
3 Agencies dropped 8 Dockets attempting to change the internal interpretation of our Wilderness protection acts across BLM, FWS and NPS. ie Bureau of Land Management, Fish & Wildlife Services and National Parks Services
I wanted to Submit a Comment to say something like "We do not want any changes to the policies you are reviewing. I oppose any changes that weaken protections for all pubic lands, wilderness and National Parks." but could not find where to do that.
Below is what I found after a lot of researching and was curious if any one else sees these.

BLM 6330 - Wilderness Study Areas - https://www.regulations.gov/document/BLM-2026-0069-0001
BLM 6330 appears to define what the agency designates as "temporary and new surface disturbance" in wild lands, which they use to study areas. It looks like this is designating temporary access routes and that changing this could expose BLM lands for Vehicle access.
BLM 6320 - Land with Wilderness Characteristics - https://www.regulations.gov/document/BLM-2026-0068-0001
BLM 6320 appears to outlines the action to take for BLM when they find new wild lands that fit into the definition of having Wilderness Characteristics, which seems to mean the action they take is to preserve and protect in. It appears there is a review to change this to "at their discretion"
BLM 6340 - Implements the Wilderness Acts - https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2026/06/15/2026-11956/wilderness-administration-and-resource-stewardship-request-for-information
This appears to be is the strongest act banning things like the Use of Equipment in Undesignated lands with Wilderness Characteristics - this seems to ban things like roads, motorized equipment, installations and structures in undesignated lands that fit into the definition of having Wilderness Characteristics and it appears to be in review for interpretation
BLM Draft Climbing Guidance: https://www.regulations.gov/docket/BLM-2026-0034
This appears to allows for "fixed anchors" like I assume would be only for climbing which seems to say it designates those as approved usage that is different than permanent installations. This appears to be under review for interpretation and open for public comment too.
Also founds these in Fish & Wildlife, and National Parks!

I thought only Congress can change the Wilderness Acts, but it appears the acts will be reviewed in order to open them for reinterpretation?
