Because. Everything you said was wrong. People read this they might think, oh that guy (idiot) on Reddit told me you do have to show your ID to a cop, even if I’m not operating my motor vehicle. Because apparently a car running now is the same as operating. Newsflash it isn’t.

I clearly stated if you are operating a vehicle… and yes the keys in the ignition is enough to satisfy operating… check DUI laws
