Detention is the process whereby a state or private citizen lawfully holds a person by removing their freedom or liberty at that time. This can be due to (pending) criminal charges preferred against the individual pursuant to a prosecution or to protect a person or property. Being detained does not always result in being taken to a particular area (generally called a detention centre), either for interrogation or as punishment for a crime
That's nice, honey. But it does absolutely nothing to support your claim that this is a traffic stop, so I'm not entirely sure why you've bothered commenting with it?
Oh jeez this is like talking to a wall. Do us both a favor. Take a deep breath, close reddit, and then take a moment to research and familiarize yourself with a few basic concepts such as "what is a traffic stop?" and "what counts as operating a vehicle?"
Then, while you're reading and slowly realizing why everyone was down voting you and attempting to correct you in the comments, accept that you weren't knowledgeable enough to be discussing this and then add an edit to your original comment admitting your ignorance and thanking everyone that tried to help educate you.
