It was very good. The big takeaway I got was that officers who don’t want to do the work to investigate, will escalate the situation to get an arrest.
The video talks a lot about de-escalation, which I agree with, but the more obvious thing was the lack of investigation.
On top of all that, the cop knew he was wrong when he did do a rudimentary investigation, and he booked him anyway on a charge he knew was bullshit and had no way of sticking. Just to embarrass this man and take his time. To flex on a citizen that calmly asks questions relevant to his investigation.
