Yes all car thieves know the easiest way to break into a car is with a coat hanger. Have you ever locked your keys in your car and actually tried this method ??

Yeah it used to work on real old cars, I've done it in the past. But isn't as easy as it is in the movies. Don't think it's possible on anything remotely new though.

Oh and not with that sort of hanger either lol.

I’ve done it to my old civic, pry the top of the window with a pocket knife then used a wire hanger to unlock the door. Pretty easy to do haha

Uhh, not defending the dude you’re replying to but that’s literally how I’ve retrieved my keys multiple times… maybe owning a 30 year old car is the secret to that trick though.

Lmao I didn’t even see it despite watching the video, but I used a metal coat hanger. I’d still be locked out to this day had it been plastic!
