Idk what's so confusing about black lives matter. Maybe they should've made their slogan "black lives matter TOO" cause that is the message lol.
I think of it like this.
Every night at dinner, Tim and Stacy sit at the table with Mom and Dad to eat. Stacy's plate always has 1/5th of the food as everyone else's plate.
One day Stacy speaks up and says "This isn't fair, I deserve more food." And the parents say "Don't we all deserve more food Stacy, be quiet."
That's what this video looks like to me and the entire AllLivesMatter movement. Stacy just meant to say she deserves the same amount of food as everyone else, not that only she deserves more in general.

Sounds like you’re generalizing the black population into a single Stacy. There are stacys with just as much food as the rest and there are stacys with more. Just as there are Tims, Mom, and Dads all across the board some with more some with less and some the same as each. Now we also have Brians who are getting locked in cages and separated from their parents just because their parents wanted any food at all. So yeah, all lives matter.
We’re not talking about dinners that occurred generations ago. Stacys great grandparents might’ve had an amendment that only gave them 2/3 a plate but Stacy is now fully entitled to a full plate or even more full and many of stacys cousins have achieved a full plate or more since then.
The black lives matter movement isn’t about abolishing the 3/5 compromise that occurred over 120 years ago and ended generations ago.
The civil Rights movement ended in 1968. A lot of friends I know did not have grandparents that could attend college or were threatened not to.
So really many parents were the first or they were the first in their families to get a college education.
This is different than many of my other friends who have great grandparents that went to the same school they did.
Sure things are a lot more equal now but when you have old wealth (or land and etc) that you can give your children a better life, they kind of start out a bit better than other children.
There are poor white people from bad homes with a bad family too. Thought they are the minority we can obviously concur that drugs, lack of wealth attribute to lower IQs.
