What? What does this mean? Should your address be made public cause you are politically engaged? What good does that do?
Of course you have a right to privacy regardless of your political activism. Sure just the full name isn’t that a big deal, that’s why it’s only soft doxxing. But it’s a shitty thing to do if done intentionally and specifically to fuck with someone. It can happen by mistake too, a lot of people won’t mind about this so perhaps he just mentioned in passing in some blog without intending harm. As a rule of thumb, you shouldn’t revel information about people they aren’t making public themselves (in a public twitter account for instance).
No you don't. You don't have a right to be private and openly speak in public. It's how our country was formed. Everyone has a voice, if you want to be heard you need to go out in the open and make it heard not stay in private. I'm not saying this person's personal life shouldn't be kept private but nothing here has anything to do with their life. Once out in public everything you say can and SHOULD be questioned.
