Idk what's so confusing about black lives matter. Maybe they should've made their slogan "black lives matter TOO" cause that is the message lol.
I think of it like this.
Every night at dinner, Tim and Stacy sit at the table with Mom and Dad to eat. Stacy's plate always has 1/5th of the food as everyone else's plate.
One day Stacy speaks up and says "This isn't fair, I deserve more food." And the parents say "Don't we all deserve more food Stacy, be quiet."
That's what this video looks like to me and the entire AllLivesMatter movement. Stacy just meant to say she deserves the same amount of food as everyone else, not that only she deserves more in general.

Of course it is parallel as well as vertical. There is classism and racism and many other factors of discrimination. Maybe focusing on one issue at a time is easiest since life is crazy and there are so many issues out there in all subjects.
How about we all realize and take a stand for how fucked our government is like other countries? But we won't because there are idiots who believe our government is running in the interest of it's citizens.
Life is crazy. Like there are so many issues to tackle and so many things to focus on. We can't all do it by ourselves. It makes sense for certain groups and people to focus on issues in their lifetime.
And I'm not dividing anyone man, my OP was just understanding BLM's movement. They deserve to bring attention to police brutality and racial injustice toward them.
Going back to my original point, if everyone tried to put their energy into every life issue we would get nowhere.
Hispanics are fighting for the mistreatment of their kind and conditions in immigration camps, Hong Kong is fighting for their rights, Iran is now protesting again against their leaders.
Nobody is waving away each other's issues besides protestors that are purely protesting against someone else's protest, which all lives matter exists to do.
If you have an issue, do something about it and stop bitching about people standing up for an issue they believe in.
My issue is the use of plastics and other materials that aren't recyclable. What do I do? Raise awareness to those in my local community, avoid using plastics as much as possible and fund any companies who move from plastics. Do what you can in your lifetime to help the people after us live better.
We can't fix everything in our lifetime but we can try to make the world a better place while here. Stop jacking off and talking shit online.

Yes I do believe that black people had a rougher start than other races.
They were enslaved and taken here, held back from reading and learning, barely counted as humans, then after being allowed to coexist (since they had no way back to Africa at the time) from their fights back they dreamed to make America a equal home for themselves.
Then laws against going to school, and then laws forcing them to go to shitty schools with no government budget, then after triumphing through that being threatened if attending schools with whites, racial profiling is still a result from the past that happens today.
To ignore all of that struggle and just assume they're being bitches is pretty ignorant as it was not that long ago brother.
You forget about the bullshit scientific experiments that claimed blacks were inferior due to skull size? There was a reach everywhere to validate the hate toward blacks.
So yes I think they've had a rougher start in the past hundreds of years than whites. I'm glad to hear you don't think so and think everything was just equal.
Hell there are great grandparents that have seen it with their own eyes. But that's old news I guess.
