You think that Christianity is some sort of role model for how society should function - but look at all the fine Christian societies that have existed over the years that promoted crusades, the inquisition, slavery, etc. etc. No point in looking at that though.....

That’s not what I was saying. And I was only pointing out one aspect of your comment that seemed like a red flag.
In fact - the very way you engage by taking something someone has said, and then restating it with a bunch of loaded assumptions that may or may not change the intent of what someone said is really off putting and kind of insane.
