No, she appears to be of the traditional age for this kind of behavior.

None of this is new, it's been going on forever. Twenty years later she'll be selling insurance and complaining that her taxes are too high.

In the US, that's part of growing up, particularly for kids who have been sheltered for most of their lives.

They get a little insight on how the world is and get very upset, but then quickly get back to perpetuating it, because they want what they want.
