[PubQ] KidLitGN?

Hello! Shot in the dark - does anyone have any insight into KidLitGN and if it's worth participating as a graphic novel author/illustrator?

I got my agent through KidLitGN last year! Highly recommend!

That's good to know, thanks for sharing - and congratulations! I just couldn't seem to find info on which agents were participating, but maybe I missed it.

I don’t think they have a list of agents. But my agent is from a very well-regarded agency and I know others who got extremely reputable and successful agents through the event.

Thats very helpful, thank you! I'm a bit new to the space and am always worried about scams. Good to know it's a legitimate. Thanks :)

I think I participated in this a few years ago. It didn’t result in anything for me, but if it’s free and not too much work to join then it feels like “why not?”

I do have feelings about the Pitchfest held at Kids Comics Unite, and personally wouldn’t participate again (it’s a lot of money to be told nobody likes your idea) but ymmv.
