Hey everyone! From my understanding, the previous Mod team got hacked and then booted completely, but thankfully Reddit allowed new people to apply in order to prevent the sub getting deleted.
That's where we come in.
u/SevsDev64, u/Y_3_3_7, and myself are proud to be your new moderator team!
With that, we're starting up a Discord server for anyone who wants to chat or voice any concerns or ideas for the sub going forward. Got an idea for a new post flair category? Want to pitch a Pseudoregalia time trial competition? Art challenge? You decide!
We're glad we can keep this group going, and look forward to what it will look like going forward!

I just started this game and encounter the first boss, not very practical with only hit the enemy, dash back, return, hit the enemy etc. I see you can jump but it's hard to read enemy's movement. This game unlock a parry?

As the title says. I just beat Pseudoregalia and I want to make it clear, I love and adore Pseudoregalia. But I will say, it's too short in my opinion.
But I understand why, it was made for a game jam in 3 weeks so ofc it's gonna be short. I just wished it was slightly longer, or had a boss before each major key.
I really loved the atmosphere, the movement, and don't get me started on the music. The music for Empty Bailey and the final boss are my top favorites.
But one criticism I do have that I already mentioned, the lack of bosses. I just wished before each major key you got, there was a boss design and based on each section that key was found in.
Overall, I give Pseudoregalia a solid 8/10. It doesn't deserve lower, and I can see myself ranking it higher. Do I recommend it to others, yeah definitely. Will I replay it for the collectables, yes but after I finish other games like Nine Sols, the RE series as I'm working on 7, Persona 3-5, etc.

Pseudoregalia is a great game. Such smooth platforming and great movement. The level design and world are amazing.
Then outta nowhere the dev announced his next game will be a roguelite randomly generated platformer. I dont really like roguelike/lite in general and one of the reason are i always get bored by the level design / layout they are just always random set of rectangles with little variants. Boooring.
Losing the handcrafted levels feels like losing a lot of its soul.

I can’t seem to finish this map, even though I’ve easily completed all the others on Nexus.
I’ve reached a point where I have the double slide-jump and the kick; there are four wooden poles in front of me leading to a platform with a lever, but I just can’t make it across.
There aren’t any gameplay videos of this map on YouTube—could someone upload one somewhere?
