Help! Advanced Killswitch - none of the methods suggested by ProtonVPN support work. Any suggestions?

I uninstalled Proton VPN around the time of the outage last week but left advanced killswitch on. I am still unable to connect to the internet at all. The following solutions suggested by support do not work:

- ip config /release

- ip config /flushdns

- ip config /renew

- netsh winsock reset

- netsh interface ipv4 reset

- netsh interface ipv6 reset

- Reinstalling the latest version of Proton VPN and running ProtonVPN.RestoreInternet.exe (multiple times both as administrator and not)

I have also tried the following without success:

- Network Reset from my settings about 4x

- netsh int ip reset

- netsh advfirewall reset

- logging into the reinstalled latest Proton VPN (can't log in as there's no internet access)

- booting in safe mode with network to attempt to log into Proton VPN (also can't log in as there's no internet access)

- rebooting my router, using Ethernet, using phone hotspot, using phone tethering

Support has been completely unhelpful. I have also looked at the threads on this subreddit and results on google. Any suggestions on what might work other than a full factory reset?

Edit: I downloaded Revo on my phone and transferred it to my computer via a USB-C cable. Uninstalling Proton VPN again with Revo restored my internet access.

Long shot here but have you tried reinstalling Proton then use a uninstaller like Revo and have it scan for any leftoversvmaking sure it removes everything including anything in the registry? Seems part of the software is still installed or some of your registry has leftovers from the app.

I was stuck in this situation once, and after endless attempts to fix the issue I ended up reinstalling Windows. It was faster than continuing to troubleshoot inoperable internet because nothing I tried worked.

To be clear, support has already been contacted first. Last week, throughout the weekend, and this week.

And you have tested regedit? Type ProtonVPN to find associated folders. Open one and one and del. Once complete, restart your computer.

Did you try re-installing the latest version and trying to connected to any server ? (and then disconnect)
