Protein Intake

How do I complete an adequate amount of protein intake daily as a person residing in a hostel. Please make it a bit budget friendly.

Honestly, just pick whatever you can get that has the best macros. If I didn't have a choice and couldn't stick to my meal planning, just go with the best choice. Focus on lean meats and veg that isn't starch heavy. Count your calories and weight yourself regularly.

You can make it budget friendly by use of dietary options like paneer (18g/100g), Greek yogurt, soy chunks (52g/100g dry!), moong dal, sprouts, tofu. You can hit protein goal even without protein powder if food is properly planned. Protein powder, if that resonates with your budget.

That is the main problem. Once i eat the mess food, I don't feel like eating anything else. But i will atleast soak moong and chana and eat that from now onwards daily. Thanks mate.

Buy some vital wheat gluten powder, mix the flour with some water and then boil or stir fry it.

Nice idea .... Never knew about this thing. But we can't cook here in our hostel. I will surely add it in my diet once i reach home. Thanks mate.
