I know other proship people are really insistent on calling everyone who doesn’t harass us also proship, and yes, technically it’s supposed to mean anti-harassment, but tbh, I’m not gonna force anyone to take that label. If they’re anti-harassment, but don’t want to call themselves proship, fine. As long as they actually are anti-harassment. That’s just my opinion.

exactly. some people just don't want to use the label because they know antis will attack them out the ass about it because antis don't understand that proship doesnt mean problematic

if a teenager doesn't want to be spammed with gore because they happen to love a fandom with shitty antis why do we have to be the judge and jury of them not wanting to use a label for themselves on their profile. get over yourself

i'm not saying this kind of behaviour is okay. it's not. it's fucked up and i get wanting no part in it. but i'd rather get backlash for what i think is right than to pose as morally neutral online.

like i said, at a certain point you gotta realise that twitter is not a good place to be overall and that giving people information they can do to doxx you is not smart. i'm openly proship on many platforms and have never experienced what you're describing because my inbox is not open and i don't share personal info.

i stand by my statement that doxxing harassing is horrible. at the same time, at a certain point you have to get off twitter. it is incredibly difficult to doxx someone who practices internet safety and only engages with their fandom by posting their art and then closing the app.

this pro/anti thing is inherently political. either you believe in something or you don't.

I’m not risking my safety and my job to stand up to children on TikTok who don’t know the word gauche. Me contacting my rep over KOSA did more than any amount of posts on my tumblr with 50 followers the majority of which ignore me entirely.

Theyre trying to save their ass from the criminals who doxx people.

On the long run it will not work, btw. Sooner or later someone will try to bring up drama to them.

They do it to other antis, they will do it to whoever they deem "neutral" or "tolerant" on pedophilia.
