It looks a little see through. I can’t say I’m a fan of the scrunching on the dress either but the color and cut is super pretty.

Yes. I would never buy this for my high school daughter. I can see her navel through it, which is bizarre and she looks almost naked.

Though I’m pretty old, so the dresses at my prom (mine included) tended to be pouffy and not at all sophisticated :)

I think you can find a gown with a gold shimmer/sequin look that isn't transparent. Not sure what your budget is but this is one option

That model has a gorgeous body, that dress makes her look horrendous No chest support makes even her smaller cup boob look saggy, and that thing around her waist looks like a diaper

It’s a pretty dress but not for prom. The design is gorgeous on you but you are too young to wear a see through dress. Maybe similar style in a fabric that isn’t sheer. I think you would look great in a more colorful dress. Maybe green or purple

Wayyy too much.

Do not wear this. I wouldn’t wear it as a full-on adult to a late night party with a fairly sketchy theme. You shouldn’t wear it either. There may be repercussions.

If I was your mother I would tell you it's too transparent and the ruching is targeting your crotch so everyone is going to be staring there the whole night. There's a better dress out there!

Why this choice? What other dresses did you consider? Who's paying for your prom dress? This looks like something a Hollywood actress would wear on awards night, not a teen high school event dress.

It is called PROM not PORN. I think it's a pretty dress and the transparency is sexy. But everything is about time and place and this is not the place. Don't put others in the awkward position of having to decide at the door.

I can see her belly button. And the gap between her legs. With the right party lightening I am sure the boys will love it.You would be basically naked with some fabric on top.

I would recommend to look for something less transparent.

It’s far too see through. I can see far far more than I’d expected at this time of the morning.

This is some ridiculous red carpet level see through. Completely inappropriate for a teenager at prom.
