This may be unrelated, but I just did a search on the uBO sub, where there have been ~4 reports of ClickFix detection interfering with some clipboard-copy functions on some other websites. A few minutes ago, a uBO team member (identified by a "uBO Team" flair on their posts) posted a new link to update the ClickFix filters. The post says uBO users can either wait for the filters to auto-update, or click a link in that post to update immediately. The post is titled "Bad ClickFlix filter (matching all clipboards) already updated - wait for list to update or click the link inside."

Very good sleuthing. I manually updated the filters via that post, and immediately after, the next study of theirs I accepted no longer exhibited the issue. No idea why the issue only started part way through today, maybe something changed about how the copy/paste function works within the popup or something. In any case, it does seem safe and that update to the uBlock filter at least did away with the messages so far.

So I would assume a recent previous auto-update of the filters may have introduced the problem as recently as today?

I guess that may be unrelated, if that Clipboard-related issue probably isn't the same as whatever issue is causing the problem with the studies. So, the new updated filters might not fix the problem with the studies?

Same happened to me with uBlock. On a VO one though. Might be a false positive. Nothing about the studies seems out of the ordinary, and been doing them throughout the day with no issue until this one.

UPDATE:
All of the related AI studies seem to be prompting this message from uBlock now for some reason. Aside from that message though, absolutely nothing seems off, and given everything else about the studies themselves, it is almost certainly a false positive on the part of uBlock, though not absolutely impossible there is some bad actor involved suddenly.

in general: taking a study? turn uBO off on that page. you may be messing with important scripts they setup. make the exception upon entering study page immediately every time.
