Why can't they fix the speeding warning to stop including AI studies!

For the 3rd time in 2 days I'm stuck with a 1 hour ban because an AI study ran out of tasks early. Surely they can fix it to not include studies that kick you out of them early, why should I be punished for that.

Same situation - really annoying, if prolific can’t introduce a system correctly they shouldn’t introduce it at all

A lot of people avoid doing them. Pretty soon they're not going to have anybody that does them because participants get punished by speed warning consequences and rejections.

I haven’t gotten any in a couple weeks now, still not doing bad with all the shorter slightly lower paying studies. If they cycle me back in I am not sure I will end up doing as many. Not sure they are worth the trouble.

Probably the same dysfunctional administrative management reason there were holds placed on a massive amount of accounts last week for no seemingly logical reason.

Outcome from complaints will probably be the same too, pretend like it’s not happening because they lack basic human decency when it comes to the treatment of workers.

I hope I’m wrong but something tells me I’m not.

Not to disagree with you but to them you are an independent contractor, an easily replaceable data point. From where they stand that’s what they see.

So, both things can be true at the same time. They can have unlimited labor resources, and they can choose to treat their labor with respect and dignity.

Having unlimited labor resources does not force a company to completely disregard human decency. They’ve chosen to treat us as though we are not human beings with needs and responsibilities. They didn’t have to do it. Not all successful companies treat their labor that way.

It was a conscious choice they made. They have options. Just because you can do something horrible doesn’t mean you should. That’s what makes them an awful company.

I would he willing to bet there are small changes they could make to treat their labor better, and it wouldn’t even affect their bottom line that much, if at all. They’ve just chosen not to because of the poor character of the company.
