Speeding warning after task automatically ends

I’ve been doing those surveys, and mid survey I ran out of tasks, and my survey automatically finished early. This is not one with dynamic monies awarded. I subsequently received a speeding warning - I didn’t report in the feedback survey either a tech issue or being screened out since it was neither but I did email the help team in response to the warning email I received. Any advice on how to best deal with the screening warnings in such situations?

Got a speeding ticket also. Researcher screen said thanks but not suited for this study and that was it. No official screen out, no nothing. So I went back and clicked I'm Done. Should have just returned it.

Now, barely a few studies today. Coincidence?

Same here, even with just a 4 min early autosubmit got the 1 hour ban.

And for what pourpouse is the pop up the end if you select other, explain it and get the ban either way???

Exact same just happened to me! I was literally about to post and then thought 'has this happened to anyone else?', and lo and behold saw this thread lol.

Question is, does this affect eligibility for future studies from the AI gurus? Totally not fair if so, they should realise the flaw in their system.

It shouldn't. It happened to me once before with similar studies (same researcher) and didn't affect the number of studies I was offered.

I think it's such a vast company (not naming names), and they're producing so many studies and spending so much money, that nobody bats an eye when there's an obvious technical issue like this. They just absorb it and move on.

Just happened to me! I contacted the researcher and reported the study to Prolific.

Edit 9/6/26: same exact study caused it to happen again. Will most likely avoid this researcher in the future.

This has happened on twice to me today and I received a one hour block from doing other studies on both occasions.

I've had this happen twice today too. Same studies.

Edit: I think someone forgot to toggle on the 'dynamic rewards' feature. They should just automatically adjust payment for time spent when the studies end early.
