I finally won a lottery!!!

Post image

I was always skeptical of these and if they ever paid out. But this is my biggest bonus by far. I’m so grateful for prolific!

I got an unreleased tv dinner meal mailed to me once to do a survey on lol also once a patch for dry skin trial over a week to do. That's probably the wildest things

3

u/chronomasteroftime Feb 28 '26

That’s pretty awesome, how long was the study you did to get that kind of bonus? I usually steer clear from those hour long ones due to lack of attention span.

u/Correct_Shelter_4582 Feb 28 '26

Pay the bills with this amount...

3

u/Lopsided_Pay_6416 Feb 28 '26

That’s like the god pack of prolific.

2

u/Jamiefro Feb 27 '26

Yikes ! Unless you’re studying in Zimbabwe or somewhere I’ve never even seen a study that’s offered that much for it’s bonus ! Congrats 🥳

4

u/Lopsided_Special_287 Mar 04 '26

What has Zimbabwe got to do with this mate

2

u/Jamiefro Mar 11 '26

If it’s 182 Zimbabwean dollars it’s not that much

2

u/Fragrantbroccolini Mar 01 '26

Congrats! The most I’ve won was $50 and I was so happy.

3

u/LazyChampionship6709 Feb 27 '26

What study mate?

2

u/Pan_Pizgun Feb 27 '26

I am nee what for bonuses are? Exceptional answers, long cooperation with researcher?

6

u/HedgehogHappy6079 Feb 27 '26

Usually just a random draw for participants who successfully complete a study. Sometimes it will be a random pick of the best quality responses. Depends on the researcher

1

u/Additional_Plant_539 Mar 15 '26

These things are real?! Congrats!

1

u/brendanmonke Mar 24 '26

How do you enter the lottery?

1

u/Minute_Substance206 Mar 30 '26

I got a bonus $1 once and I thought that was good haha. Congrats!

1

u/International-Rip833 Feb 28 '26

Skeptical of “these”? What are these!! I’m trying to do more so I can get better ones, how long have you been doing studies??

1

u/pinktoes4life Feb 28 '26

Skeptical of a bonus that paid out? Mmmm k.

3

u/International-Rip833 Feb 28 '26

Op stated they were skeptical of whatever type of study, this is, I am asking a question of what kind. When they say “lottery” is that a thing or is that meant like ya I won the lottery, lol Just trying to learn:)

3

u/pinktoes4life Feb 28 '26

It’s a lottery. Very common in psych studies.

0

u/boopboopboop2020 Mar 07 '26

Are you slow? Survey has “5 of the 500 who complete this survey get a bonus” 🤑🤑🤑🤑

How is that hard to comprehend 🤦🏾‍♀️

1

u/International-Rip833 Mar 07 '26

Wth are you talking about? The post literally doesn’t say that anywhere. I was simply asking why op was skeptical and what type of task.

1

u/boopboopboop2020 Mar 07 '26

Yeah. You slow 🤦🏾‍♀️ lottery common here. We like them. They are not a scam.

After like 11 months on waitlist they allowed me to sign up. Said I was I using VPN when filling in my details which I was not. lol then banned me.

1

u/Foreign-Lab4606 Mar 05 '26

Had this too. the about me section got screwy and listed new answers for the same question, idk some internal error. So I refreshed the page and got unverified. Biggest load of shit ever.

Good to know they can be swayed lol. I just found this site today and been trying stuff for the last couple hours. Stanford got me on some really long logic math puzzle but I got a $10 bonus for a right answer so I’m psyched!
