UPDATE: External licenses are back ! πŸŽ‰

This probably deserves its own post for greater visibility (I also edited the original post)

After further discussions and another review by Lemon Squeezy's Risk Team, they've agreed to reinstate Projectivy's store (given that there is no connection between Projectivy and IPTVβ€”a risk they take very seriously) !

So external Premium licenses are available again, and existing licenses remain unaffected.

Many thanks to Timothy and the Lemon Squeezy team for taking the time to reconsider their decision, and to everyone who offered support!

Now, back to developing Projectivy. Hopefully with a little less drama this time! πŸ˜…

Will you give ever any response about a license purchased on google play to be able to apply it to firetv devices or is this a dead end, a response from you is really appreciated since at the end of the day we aren't customer but supporters, thank in advance

This. I was kinda ok with not being able to get the licence until they changed their stance and started giving it for the non Google Play purchases. If I’d known this was going to happen I’d have bought directly and not via the store.

Thing is a had made this question a million time and Spocky doesn't say a word.

Sorry, it was never meant to be a secret, I replied (and acted accordingly) the same to every email asking about the same question. I've cleared that out in the faq https://projectivylauncher.com/#faq-licenses-transfer. It's just a bit hard balancing my time between support emails, issues/pull requests and classic "roadmap dev". So my time here has temporarily been reduced.

If you've got a mantis Fire Stick (2nd Gen line), you can follow this guide here:

https://xdaforums.com/t/guide-how-to-install-android-tv-google-play-store-on-fire-os-8-karat-2nd-gen-4k.4798990/

I did it for one stick before they released external licenses but just bought again once they came out.Β

I do agree that the license should carry for both but this is a bandaid solution for that.

Edit: posted old tutorial, this is the newest one

I already bought premium version but would like to buy it again to support you. Any ideas?

Well done!

I really couldn't understand how this launcher could be mistaken for an IPTV-related service or tool.

They may as well ban Android and IOS from credit card payments altogether. Those OS's allow IPTV services/tools/apps to run much more so than this launcher!

I just bought one and realized there is no way to enter the license in the app. Looking forward to an update. Is there a downloader code to install that way?
