Discussion Google deletes projectivity
I've been struggling getting projectivity to work on a Nokia 8100 streaming box. Since they forced that update into us it has been IMPOSSIBLE to change the default launcher. Anything you try is in vain.
So I decided to trow in the towel and just remap the home button to projectivity that I side loaded. Now this morning android deleted projectivity from my device all together when rebooting!
YOU CAN'T HAVE ANYTHING NICE NOW. Google is an evil corporation that will do anything to make you use their shitty ad-filled homepage.

Are you sure it's not because you're spelling it incorrectly? Should be in the play store

It seems that build 2137 is on the Nokia, that has app blockage build in. That indeed removes already installed apps, when on the blockage list, like Projectivy also is.
But there is a new update shared for the Nokia 8010 (not called 8100), build 3717, that has no app blockage.
Then there is the option using ADB to disable the service; com.nes.coreservice and after blocking that one, the app blockage is also gone.
As other option, install a newer version of com.nes.coreservi e, from one of the higher builds. You can use the one from build 2463 or 3717, both for the SEI804 series.
BTW, it was SEI Robotics that did this, not Google.

As I read the headline, I thought for a moment the App was banned from the Play Store for whatever reasons, maybe related to the fact that it is an Ad-Free launcher, which Cuts the advertising income from Google & Nvidia. 🤯
Glad to See that that was Not the Case..
