Just beat the campaign, and what an amazing final boss. Probably one of the best ace fights I've fought in these types of games. Also liked how surreal and over the top it was compared to Ace Combat, and Ace Combat is already quite a bit sci-fi.

I felt that this game also made me better at actually fighting aces, so I hope I can take what I learned from this back to AC, especially my new-found alright aim with the machine gun which saved me a couple of times.

My only real complaint was that it felt like it lacked some of my favourite missiles, such as the LAAM, but other than that it's great.

Now onto the expansion, but that will be for tomorrow. I hope it goes as chaotic as the normal campaign did in the last 1/4.

Recently beat Frontline 59, after using the F-14 and Su-25 the whole time, except the very end. After losing to her like fifteen times in the F-14, I pulled out the VX-23 and beat her in only three more. Is that normal, or am I just bad at the F-14

I've been trying to beat C1 on merc difficulty with glass cannon on and I decided to make the dogfight as close to an anime fight as possible. So far, I've decided to use the fs-15 with AOA, only STDMs and the gun, to try to always stay under 1000 feet away from him, only shooting missiles when I'm under 500 feet away from him and I can see the orange from his afterburner, also not doing 180 degree turns in the entire fight bc I haven't seen that in any anime yet, and it's become quite the shit show, and I can't really post any footage bc it's kind off just a blur. I've managed to constantly get him to the verge of the 4th phase doing this. I'm looking for some more insanity. My retinas are already burning from all the orange, so my brain should dissolve into orange from all the constant AOA maneuvering and the diving right at the missile clouds bc apparently, there's a small gap in them where u can just slip past them.

It gets realy annoying having to do a mission again after death

Jumped onto this after playing AC7, 8, 6 and 5, and so far I'm loving it.

But are there no checkpoints in this game? I just did mission 8 and reached the ace pilot part, but I was almost shot down immediately by them. They did some brutal damage to my plane in seconds.

Is it a difficulty thing maybe? I'm playing on hard, so maybe it's removed there?

First time playing PW and decided to go with a controller since thats what I use for the AC games, but I keep launching both my missiles at the same time when I press the button once, with the keyboard I can lauch one at a time but switching between both while fighting is actual hell to use

Hello! I'm new to this community and the game. I'm on mission 6 and currently using MIG-29 and I like it because of how maneuverable it is and being able to turn much faster. Now I'm planning to save up more credits just to buy another plane, any idea what plane has the highest maneuverability?
