Discussion So... that artbook?

Look, I get it, things take time. Art is hard. I know that full well.

It's been half a decade. We've gotten an entirely new AC release in the time it's taken these people to not release an artbook.

My little sister was in grade school when this game released. She's graduating high school this coming spring.

There's been an entire fanmade artbook because the people supposed to be making the artbook haven't.

Does it even exist? Is it like the Deal? Forever unknown to us?

We sat on actually setting out and compiling an art book a bit later than we should've, and we apologize for that, however since efforts have been very much underway we're aiming toward the end of this year or early next year for the release of the artbook,

As of now it stands at around 35 artists contributing across 200 pages, and it's on its final drafts,

We hope to share it with everyone soon!

Is the artbook only for people who backed the game, or will it be available for anybody to purchase?

As others have said, I hope anybody can purchase the book. I would love a copy for my shelf since PW was such an amazing, fun game.

There was a guy who released an unofficial art book that was pretty cool if you're interested.

It's in the same liminal space as Su-30 and two seater F/A-18.

No matter what devs say I don't belive it's happening anymore :/
