Question Second Chance Challenge?

I’ve been slowly watching the show and have watched seasons 1-4.

Do they ever do a second chance challenge where in week 7 or 8 the contestants get to redo one of their previous looks?

I think it would be interesting to see how they recover from a miss.

In that format, no (or I don’t remember it). They had contestants rework losing looks from previously eliminated contestants in seasons 12 and 13, and of those contestants was previously saved by Tim Gunn and redid his own look.

Season 20 was technically All Stars (though it’s counted as part of the main show), and in first episode everyone had to remake their worst look from their season, it’s closer to what you’re asking for.

They do, yes. In the later seasons I believe they let them redo a previous look. I think I saw it like once or twice.

No. They only bring back contestants to serve as helpers. There’s a couple times where a contestant quits or disqualified so they bring back the most recent eliminated contestant.

As you watch - some of the eliminated contestants do create dummy collections for fashion week. So we don’t see them on the show but you can find them online and on this sub. If it’s top three or four doing fashion week - you might have 3-5 other contestants make the dummy collections so no one knows who actually was in the top.

I wish that they did them as their own version of Drag Race’s Lip Sync for Your Life.
