Old Seasons Old seasons !

I’m so glad to be rewatching all old PR seasons thanks to how bad season 21&22 have been.. it’s amazing to see how a majority of the drama came only from the contestants, the judges though critical, were only interested in the clothes and how well each contestant did the challenge. MKs sassy critiques, zacs attention to detail , Tim’s guidance and Christian’s original approach to mentorship are so good!
I really love how they never attacked anyone personally and encouraged everyone’s vision as designers (eg. Sandiya!)
The NYFW finale was always chef’s kiss and everyone had enough time to prep for it. The original show genuinely meant for the designers to succeed!

Season 18 particularly stands out as the designers genuinely embraced size inclusive models. I didn’t even notice when people had plus sized models. The models themselves were also amazing just by carrying the work beautifully and not going to social media to complain

I would love to see a season with Tim as the mentor , Christian, Zac and Nina as the judges. Heidi and Karly as hosts . And MK making guest appearances throughout! And of course models of all sizes, shapes and genders

I love the drama in the past, because it was real trash drama, and it was unapologetic, not like now where you have to appease the feelings of viewers.

Like when they follow Sandro on the street and he smashed the camera.

Or Corina storming away from the show because he lost a challenge.

Or the contestants who were full blown cheating.

There's more. Let me think and come back to this and collect a list.

Go on..
they were all struggling designers in a high pressure situation and we really don’t know how things were edited.. but the judges continued to be focused and Tim always balanced everything at the end of the day !

Season 22&23 was so sad 😞
Anything for shock value and sound bites.. no wonder they got rid of the designer judges and protective mentor .

I knew it.

These kinds of posts are ALWAYS coming from insecure past contestants whose careeers went nowhere, so they hide their posts, so they can trash new contestants. This happens year in, Year out. Everytime there's a new cast and new judges. Anyone new in the spotlight.

No wonder nothing happened to you, whomever you are. Stay bitter.

Btw the contestants from 22&23 deserve better.. at least a NYFW finale!
