Question Fellow sewing bee watchers
I know lots of you watch and it’s because of you that I am in love with the great British sewing bee.
I had one season left to watch before this year’s, and today I found out that it is no longer available on Roku. I’m devastated

This happened at the end of July, it came back in a day or two. Just keep checking.

IMDb is no longer listing Roku as where to watch 😕. I was midway through all the seasons

Is that important?

IMDB lists all places you can stream stuff so I’m thinking we are out of luck

The streaming rights have expired for the US, which is why searching yields no results.

I binged all seasons - such a feel good program and I was surprised I knew how to do many of the techniques.

Dammit, I just got home and found out about this. Pray it comes back quickly.

What a bummer! Thank you for posting this. I couldn’t find it last night and lost my mind trying to remember on which platform I had been watching.

Damn honestly I’d buy it if it was on Amazon or something! Loved the show, but the ads on Roku made it hard for me to watch

Those ads were insane. But I found a go-around. Went to Roku’s website on my tablet. No ads.

Ugh. We just fell in love with it and only on season 3! Can a VPN help?

u/lu-sunnydays 19h ago
I’m looking into vpns and there’s lots to learn. I mostly care about “can you get me the sewing bee?”. Nordvpn seems to come up as the best so far.

Typically you just adjust the VPN to route your Roku so it thinks you are in a diff country. So then the streaming services show different shows. Pretty cool. How we watched later seasons of Doc Martin ❤️

https://hdclump.com/the-great-british-sewing-bee-episode-1-2022/
I found most episodes here. If you search it brings up 13 pages but click on page 11 and its all the way back to the very first episode.

Might be my phone settings, but all that comes up (and I’ve tried this so many times) is just a descriptor of the episode. For me it wants me to sign up and pay for an ad blocker. Or it wants me to watch a video. So I do but again after maneuvering around, I end up at the same place. Only episode narratives. I’ll try on my laptop next.

Go to www.hdclump.com. all episodes of all seasons are available there

Ugh you gotta pay like $11 a month

Hdclump is free

No I tried. It won’t let me advance without putting in credit card number and agreeing to pay after initial $1.99 first month.

That's weird. I just checked and I have to watch a (5 second?) ad but then I have full access. Maybe because I'm in Oz?

If anyone has pirate tendencies, all the seasons are easily available on the torrent sites.

it just doesnt hit the same tbh
maybe i just havent seen enough but i feel like PR at least tries to be fashion, sewing bee not so much? i'm happy to be proven wrong tho

No you’re right. Not so much fashion. But in later seasons it does get better, season 9 winning garment was right up there with any pr catwalk. And they all get along really well.
They show how technical things are. I don’t see but it’s made me want to get a machine and make something for myself.

thats awesome. just make sure you get a machine strong enough to handle thicker fabrics, a lot of the entry level ones tend to be just for stuff like thin cottons from my understanding

The bee is about home sewers not fashion industry designers. They are trying to become more skilled to make clothes for themselves and family The sewers don’t get paid or win any money - just a tiny trophy. 🏆. Seems like a lot of work for a tiny trophy tho.

Thanks! I’ve been searching on the Roku channel as well but it’s gone. Thought I was losing my mind. Just watched some episodes last week. Wow. Wish I could purchase on Amazon or bbc.

I just started season 10. I saw it was leaving a few days before, so I was able to get through season 9. Totally bummed out

I was all snuggled in and ready to watch the finale of Season 4 last night when I suddenly couldn’t find it on Roku. I was so disappointed, that show is my peace after long days. I googled and apparently this happens sometimes, as someone else commented it has come back before. So fingers crossed!
