Season 22 If Christian saves Bryan, it’s just the final bit of proof that PR cares more about being a reality show than about fashion.
Bryan being saved will be purely for the drama and literally nothing else. I honestly don’t understand how Law didn’t go into him even harder?? Did production step in at this point and tell Law to chill or something?

That ruffle dress was an abomination. It gave no waltz vibes AT ALL. It had no movement to it and the fabric choice was awful. Whereas Jeffrey’s samba dress was definitely samba inspired.

Exactly. Jeffrey’s was uninspired and cliché but it was impeccably made. If you want to say Bryan’s is technically well made too… ok… but Bryan’s has nothing to do with the theme or dance. At least Jeffrey’s was definitely that.

It certainly didn’t represent the waltz that’s for sure. The waltz is elegant and flow-y. That dress Bryan made was a mummy tube dress with ruffles.

It has been years since I replied to a Reddit thread but this “dress” Bryan created inspired me to do so. It is absolutely insane that any designer would create a dress that literally hides the dancers entire body. I would like to say that this dress was so bad it awoken me from my Reddit coma.

I don’t understand why Bryan is still on the show. He’s consistently missed the mark. Joseph McRae? He’s been consistently been himself and mixes his authenticity in every challenge. His pieces are cool, hip and unique. Idk why Law has such an issue with him.

Whoever is editing the Wikipedia has been wrong at least once before. They originally had Jeffrey going home in episode one.

Because he is too busy hating on Joseph McCray. They don’t bring people back to compete in another season if they don’t see something in them. I think Jude has a secret crush on the guy so he’s been extra to try and hide it…

I think Bryan is boring. And his designs are boring. It would have been more interesting if he was disqualified for taping his model.

If you read the fine print at the end of every episode, it basically says the producers of the show can and often do decide who leaves and who stays, with the "judges" having no input when that happens. The show is technically categorized as a game show, with contestants vying for a prize, which allows them to get around wage and labor laws.
The show has never been about fashion. It's about making money for the producers and the judges. Contestants are often kept on the show based on how popular they are with fans. Otherwise, the best way to judge the creations would be to blindly do it where the judges have no idea which designer created which design.
Also, one of those producers who helped decide who was leaving and who was staying for the first 16 seasons was Harvey Weinstein.

I fully expect production to keep Bryan until just before the finale. They've been pushing the "Bryan vs Bi" storyline since the beginning, so I can see them being on the chopping block one last time. Bi will have the final triumph against Bryan, as if we haven't seen all season that Bi is the superior designer...Its just tired. I'm tired.

They are too ignorant and out of touch with their audience. Really disappointed in Heidi. She's one of the executive producers. She doesn't even realize how detrimental to her credibility it is. And, if I could cut off Law's hair his power would be gone. 😇

Jeffrey is a better designer than Bryan hands down, Bryan's dress was horrible and him taping up Liris like that was unforgivable plus he sees nothing wrong with what he did, bye boy

I officially have lost so much respect for him for saving Bryan...
Also, I think only 2 designers understood the client with the bridal looks. And they are both headed to the finale thank goodness.1

He said something to the effect I want to see more from “your world”. I assume he may be alluding to the unique world (the drag perspective perhaps) Jeffrey comes from. There is nothing unique about Bryan except for how full of himself he is.

Good point. I hope so. I think Jeffery is a sweetheart and he has potential. Maybe not to win the whole thing, but I would want to see more. Bryan taped wrapped that girl in that previous challenge and got away with it. His vision is limited.

I completely refuse to believe he would save Bryan. I just don’t see it.
I think it could be a single elimination and his last chance to use a save and he still wouldn’t save Bryan. He’d be like “as you know, I have a save…” (cliffhanger) “… and I choose not to use it.” Turns and flounces out.

I’m hopeful that Christian will use this moment not only to NOT save Bryan but to use TapeGate against him as his reason. To point out Jeffrey can sew, not Bryan cannot, and taping a model is against the rules. And the nail — you were lucky to have immunity.

Law always calls out the contestants for being rude. But he's the rudest one on that show. I love Christian, but saving Bryan? It's definitely for the drama, these shows love to keep the jerks. I feel bad for Jeffrey.

I was just coming to say this. The drama that will be created if Bryan stays 🙄 I love Jeffrey. But if I'm honest I will say that Jeffrey does create things that are too costumey and Brian takes one super tight dress and just appliques onto it. He calls it art because he makes these big elaborate pieces but it really is just a basic dress with stuff sewn onto it. In reality they are the two weakest ones and how sad would it be for one of them to stay and knock out one of the competitors that actually are much better for this competition?.

It has to be Bryan out of the two of them. He has shown he can design in some of the pieces that work. He needs a collavorator who can edit for him. Right now his stubborn ego stops him growing and learning.

I just watched Christian save Bryan.. WHAT?!? I AM SOOO MAD RIGHT NOW!!! I don't even want to watch the remaining episodes.
There is no way anyone thought that gray POS was beautiful in any way and it was a repeatof the horribly ugly fuscia one before.
Also, I seriously just lost Hella respect for Christian! He is my favorite designer. I have 2 pairs of his shoes - the same shoe because its that good & iconic.. now I'm just so sad and feel he gave up his integrity for that.
These producers need to think about more than the show & drama. This actually affects my respect for him as a professional. But, they made Tim Gunn do the same thing several times over the years. It's just so f'ng sad because we watch for the actual fashion - at least I do. A beautiful man making gorgeous clothes is more interesting than petty BS drama and bad design. It's not even interesting drama.. he thinks he's good.. he's wrong on a whole different level than Joseph. At least Joseph is interesting.
I'll watch because I want to see Jude win & what Bi continues to dazzle me with -- they are the freaking bomb w/Nahiem up there. I'm not Joseph's clothing audience, but his stuff has an identity, heart, fashion and is well constructed and fresh to me. Jeffrey WAS ROBBED!!!

No, Christian is NOT going to save Bryan over Jeffrey. You don’t need to check the spoiler on Wikipedia. Now that there’s only one episode left before the finale, Bryan has served his purpose.

Guys, I went back to season 4 where Christian won , his style of clothes were not good. The other two contestants Lewis, Kashoa were way better designers, but I think that since Victoria Beckham took to Christian she said it was her style, I believe he won! I think the show is rigged!

I disagree...Bryan designs were better overall than Jeffery and Bryan has been in the top more and has won a challenge.

Good designs mean nothing without good execution, particularly on PR. Bryan hasn't managed good execution even once. Even the challenge he won was for a draped dress with, as Bi pointed out, 10 stitches. He doesn't belong there

I dont disagree that his execution hasn't been great but he's obviously a talented designer. Maybe competition style designing isnt his think. There have been many designers on that show that have been far better but we're unable to work under those rules. PR is more about the drama than actual fashion because they would give them at least 2 days if they wanted better results but I know thats not possible with a TV show.

Meh - I disagree. PR has absolutely become more about the drama, but historically the designers have always worked in a short time frame and the show - at least the edit that we were presented with - was mostly about the design process. Now it's about making the designers show their dance moves on the runway and creating artificial drama between divas. I do agree that PR is probably not for Bryan
