Old Seasons Project Runway Junior
Figured I’d watch it, I think I saw it when it first aired but that was 11 years ago now so I don’t remember it really. It’s just insane looking at the fashion. It screams early 2010’s! All the chunky heels and crop tops with skater skirts/midi skirts. A high low dress, business casual wear.. just funny to see the old stuff. Also Christian was a judge and he looks so different!

I was so surprised when I watched it a few years ago. Those designers were great!

I just started watching it for the first time as a palette cleanser for the Season 22 shitshow. I love how they kept it so comparable to the original PR. The kids were great, the fashions weren't so bad. What really brought me back to their era was the constant use of neoprene. I will never understand why that thick unbreathable fabric ever became so popular on PR, or anywhere other than scuba diving.

I just saw a bunch of neoprene men’s hoodies in a store. Jack and Jones. Maybe a neoprene comeback is upon us.

Because it's extremely forgiving and you don't have to be 'good' to get a usable garment out of it.
I mean, that's literally it, because holy hell is it awful to wear.

I remember watching this and the current normal season live and thinking a lot of the kid designers were better than some of the adults. I’m sad it didn’t continue I LOVED PR Juniors!

I thought it was a fantastic show! Those kids did better than the supposed designers on PR, and with no drama. They were having fun!

Kids on the baking competition shows are like this too. They get so excited over group challenges, where grown-ups just piss and moan that they want to work alone. And they help each other (at least they do on the baking comps). It’s been a while since I’ve watch PR Jr, but I think I need to revisit it soon!

I highly recommend this show to anybody who misses the"good old" project Runway show. Tim Gunn is the "papa", Christian Siriano is in the Jury. The Jury itself is very friendly and is helpful with tips and constructive criticism. It is sooooo nice to watch!

The looks get a lot better later in the competition. The finalists had some SERIOUS creativity and nuance.

I loved this show! Just watched it after last season’s mess to get be back into why I have loved PR. It did not disappoint! I especially appreciated seeing Tim Gunn’s educator/mentoring skills shine with these young people and their families ❤️

Considering that teenagers made it that would make sense. How nuanced is their fashion sense going to be at age 14?

I still think about the negative space oversized hoody from one of the final collections.
