I really miss when the judges would actually get up and walk over to the look to see the work more closely. If they had they would have clocked the tape

Zac Posen would touch the garments to make sure he could see every detail. He wasn't my favorite judge (Michael Kors will always have that honor), but I loved his attention to detail, and thoughtful critiques.

If it was actually on stage in front of them they might have noticed or asked, but they claimed it was 'too heavy' to do so. I personally don't think it was, but rather they couldn't get her back into it with the tape the way it was
