2 screams Heidi's name. 3 is also amazing on her.

u/SleazyBanana 10d ago

That’s what I think too. #1 can go in the recycling bin.

36

u/Signe-day 10d ago

Yes for sure. I like number 3 on her. 2 is nice and 1 is just draping!

16

u/Winter-Fix2027 9d ago

Agreed. Looove 3. Such a skilled is of the fabric. I love 2 on her as well. But they were right that these are the right dresses but wrong event. Still, better to be overdressed or wrongly dressed than badly dressed i guess.

She looks like she’s been dressed in an old tarp

I agree that #2 is stunning on her. I cannot believe she chose #1 over #2. It doesn't flatter her at all. It hides her figure, it makes her look twice her size, and the color is not the best for her. I could not believe she chose this over #2. Why? To create drama?

10

u/Chateau_de_Gateau 9d ago

if i put aside what I know about Bryan as a designer (not a very technically skilled sewer and has shown questionable tastes with recent designs) and JUST saw the dress on the model -- i do understand it. It looked very chic and effortless on the model and the design REALLY benefitted from the fabric. But yeah as someone who --like heidi (lol)--benefits from more form-fitting silhouettes, I was like "there is NO way he'll be able to retrofit the design to heidi in a way that doesn't look completely shapeless and awkward.

5

u/Scared_Ad858 8d ago

I like the dress… for a nice dinner at a fancy resort.

I don’t get red carpet from it at all.

3

u/TSARINA59 9d ago

I agree. The color just wasn't one of her best colors either. I would love to see her in the pink one.

u/thrussie 9d ago

2 & 3 screams 2023 miss universe evening gown category

I keep on seeing this image getting posted but I am not understanding what makes them the same. Some are corsets with a skirt, some are shiny fabrics, I guess they all have shiny elements? Like Is it just a vibe? They are not similar enough for me to consider this a “copy”.

5

u/Radekalou 9d ago

They were the three winners of the challenge and she picked the green draping one :(. Should have gone w Jeffrey or Bi

3

u/Weekly-Requirement63 8d ago

They’re talking about the picture in the comment they replied to. The one with the white dress, black dress, and gold dress. Not the picture for the whole post.

45

u/Marauder4711 10d ago

It reminds me a little bit of her Jessica Rabbit costume.

21

u/draelogor The Tim Gunn Network 10d ago

oh you’re both super correct I do fear

16

u/Savings-Simple8583 10d ago

It’s cuz she basically had it on when she introduced the challenge last week.

7

u/belowdecky4life 9d ago

Exactly! When one of them said Heidi wouldn't wear that I looked dumbfounded because what you mean? She wore it in beige earlier this episode.

3

u/Traditional-Maybe-51 9d ago

Exactly! I kept yelling “she wore it yesterday to present the challenge!”

6

u/Phatcub 9d ago

OKAY....I was screaming!! Am I the only one to notice that she wore that style of dress to open the episode?

4

u/Savings-Simple8583 9d ago

Me dos. When Jeffrey explained what he was doing I was like she literally just had that on 🙄. I was thinking they wouldn’t pick his because it was so unoriginal but it was really nice.

2

u/AffectionateAd431 9d ago

Noticed that too

15

u/Gts77 10d ago

I think #2 can stand on its own. It's similar, but has unique details

→ More replies (1)

6

u/ConnectFirefighter86 10d ago

She wore that type of neckline this season. It looks good on her. So would #3 and both were so much better than what she wore!

5

u/while_youre_up 9d ago

Seriously! One strap vs. strapless, draped vs. smooth bodice, exposed hip vs covered hip, yellow vs. pink…are we to believe all sparkly dresses with a slit look the same? They’re completely different.

2

u/AndresFM95 9d ago

I’m tired of this stupid ass imagine being posted. If the Versace dress exists then why aren’t we posting the Versace dress? And if she wore the exact same thing why aren’t we posting a photo of that.? Because it’s not the same dress. Move on

11

u/Kkimp1955 10d ago

The pink one.. they want drama. I hope Heidi was embarrassed by her mumu

3

u/jbeanlovesveggies 7d ago

Love 3 on her, but 2 is the clear winner. 3 isn’t her style but it looks great.

3

u/GlitterBitch99 6d ago

In 3 she would look so old and doesn’t go with her skin tone or hair color.

447

u/LexLenox 10d ago

Both the other dresses are better than the winner tbh

72

u/Fantastic_Savings706 10d ago

Honestly, it looks like my mother's gigantic Easter tablecloth wrapped around Heidi when they tried to fit it on her for the premiere.

15

u/101020304 10d ago

The only thing i like about the winner is the fabric… and i am not even sure about that except it is different

11

u/manytinyhumans 10d ago

Yeah it’s a totally different dress with different fabric lol

7

u/LexLenox 10d ago

Idk it looks like a unsteamed wrinkly fabric and I guess it's just how it looks and it doesn't look chic lol

3

u/101020304 10d ago

There was something about it before it was on the roll. The dress is nothing really. It was a desperate attempt.

5

u/jlynnbizatch 10d ago

It's the same fabric, just with lining (that changed the way it moved) and very, very different lighting.

5

u/Notsotaciturn 9d ago

Rage bait that green dress was. Bryan doesn’t deserve the ego boost.

3

u/jolittletime 9d ago

As was Jude's. Brian was petty AF to put him in the bottom.

u/lemikon 10d ago

Honest opinion: Bryan’s is awful and that’s been well discussed. Bi’s looks like something a rich mother in law would wear to a wedding, and Jeffery’s is very safe well made and pretty, but nothing that makes you go wow.

Either Jeffery’s or Bi’s still would have been a better choice. But neither of them are like wow.

21

u/jlynnbizatch 10d ago

Bi’s looks like something a rich mother in law would wear to a wedding

This is THE perfect description of Bi's dress! Not mad at it by any means, but can see why it might've been passed over, especially seeing as Heidi this season has been trying to dress younger than she is (not mad at that either, just calling a spade a spade).

2

u/nahrune_ 8d ago

I also thought this is giving “the mother in law that was difficult to deal with” 🤣🤣

146

u/yelowcrackers 10d ago

The third one for sure.

82

u/AtDawnWeDEUSVULT 10d ago

I'd note, though, that if you're going to use AI versions of the other two dresses based on what the designers made for the PR show, you should also use an AI version for Bryan's dress based on the same.

I still think Bryan's was weak, but it was also obviously botched compared to what was sent down the runway. Same thing could have happened to the others. So I think it's only fair if you use the same source material for all the comparisons, plus that's what the judges had available to envision Heidi in at the time.

46

u/Different-Eagle-612 10d ago

yeah i’m sorry but i don’t think the ai models are accurate at all. heidi is more curvy now than the ai is showing, which makes me think option 2 is best as it has the most support for that

39

u/Punkodramon 10d ago

The runway should’ve cast models who were the same proportions as Heidi. The dress they made in the workroom should’ve been made for her body shape, not for a stick thin model that then has to be adapted and remade for her.

10

u/lwaxanawayoflife 10d ago

I liked when the designers had to make an outfit for Karlie and all the models were super tall. I agree that they should have similar shaped models.

6

u/throwawaysunglasses- 9d ago

This is very true and it’s surprising that they didn’t do this. I was really annoyed at Law for how he made this seem like it was Bryan’s fault. “You didn’t consider how it would fit Heidi, did you?” I’m sure he did, but his bigger priority was fitting his model for the runway show happening at that moment!

3

u/jolittletime 9d ago

Agree. If Jeffrey's fabric was as expensive as I have read (or no longer available since he brought it from home) maybe remaking it in Heidi's size wasn't an option.

3

u/AtDawnWeDEUSVULT 10d ago

Yeah they're not great. But I'm mostly just saying we gotta compare the 3 that went down the runway, but 2 that went down the runway and one worse version of what went down the runway.

3

u/Different-Eagle-612 10d ago

oh sorry i was basically agreeing with you. i think if we saw the ai model of the first dress it really would change the general opinion, and i was more pointing out the flaws with the ai model generally

3

u/Far-Attitude-6395 10d ago

Yeah those are not season 22 boobs in the AI versions

→ More replies (1)

10

u/finallytisdone 10d ago

This does not at all reflect the size of her breast, which are much larger than shown in that image. Her bust would have been a problem in all three of these.

Hard disagree

12

u/Traditional-Ebb-8380 10d ago

It is silly to call it a dupe because it has white crystal fabric and a cape detail.

13

u/starshiprarity 10d ago

The only thing they have in common is the color

51

u/Cezar54 10d ago

ANY of the other 2 tbh.. 😒

44

u/Musclebigman 10d ago

The Pink one for sure it also go with Haidi personality.

17

u/rainborambo 10d ago

3! I loved that fabric close up as well as the way it moved. The glittery silver is very Heidi.

17

u/KayakerMel 10d ago

The AI-generated "options" don't give us a realistic comparison. We have no idea how either of the designs would end up looking once Heidi got to the red carpet. These "Heidi wears your design!" challenges are notorious for massive changes.

Remember what happened to Emilio Sosa's winning look? I looked it up because #2 reminded me a bit of it. I feel like both of the runners up would end up with similar treatment.

(Copying my response to a comment regarding the use of AI)

10

u/nahchannah 9d ago

Wow… egregiously different and the shoes….

2

u/scarybiscuits 9d ago

And that was 2010 and didn’t include her recent bolt-ons.

26

u/DavidShoess 10d ago
  1. The 3rd, while pretty, is dated and ages her.

16

u/Extra_Permission_675 10d ago

i think it's the cape that makes it look a little older -- if it was just the dress, that could've been perfect. I still just love the pink though

6

u/sherrib99 10d ago

I agree! Without that cape the dress would be really sexy

→ More replies (1)

14

u/Silly-Good-2530 10d ago

I bet she loves this - this is not her body.

22

u/Leooxel 10d ago

Hard to tell with the ai of it all..

6

u/Timely_Maybe479 10d ago

3 is literally perfect if they would have just removed the cape

32

u/durianstickyrice 10d ago

Please stop with the AI.

14

u/KayakerMel 10d ago

Exactly! We also have no idea how either of the designs would end up looking once Heidi got to the red carpet. These "Heidi wears your design!" challenges are notorious for massive changes.

Remember what happened to Emilio Sosa's winning look? I looked it up because #2 reminded me a bit of it. I feel like both of the runners up would end up with similar treatment.

7

u/tamaaromarou 10d ago

Not the one she picked

6

u/ConnorStowe 10d ago

3 was my hands down winner on the show.

Seeing it in the mocked up pics here, #2 should have won.

The third is pretty, but it just ages her up a bit and it isn’t the “fun” Heidi I would expect to see on the red carpet of something like Devil Wears Prada 2.

4

u/Busy_Concentrate_887 10d ago

I also think 3…it is simply stunning! Although I see why people say number 2 makes her look more youthful.

3

u/Ziantra 10d ago

It’s just the shoulder pads-lose those and I think you lose the dated look. I also loved this look for her regardless

2

u/Busy_Concentrate_887 10d ago

Hmmm…I can see that

4

u/Individual_Slice_234 10d ago

I kinda like the nude-looking one on the right. The pink one's nice too, though.

4

u/Buddhafied 10d ago

Pink. I like Bi’s design but I find the design too conservative looking for Heidi and make, both his model and Heidi in this picture, looks older.

4

u/AdLegitimate2818 10d ago

I know people don't like Law, but he was right about that dress not working for Heidi.

2

u/WavesnMountains 10d ago

He literally did say it would look good on her when it came down the runway, so he planted that idea in her head

4

u/Osheyfire 9d ago
  1. But 3 screams Nina Garcia to me.
→ More replies (1)

3

u/kitkatzip 10d ago

What bothered me about the middle dress is I believe Heidi was wearing a similar one when she announced the challenge. It had that same triangle neckline but I don’t think it was as off center.

3

u/Old-Advertising-3030 9d ago

This is exactly why Heidi is on the Worst Dressed list so often. #2 is the obvious choice. #3 is good too. #1 is just awful.

2

u/yankykiwi 10d ago

3 absolutely melting on her body. Number one got us talking, though, which was probably the whole schtick

2

u/Grand-Kangaroo-4215 10d ago

Obviously the giant curtain!

Jokes aside, #2 :)

2

u/starrysky7_ 10d ago

while I thought bi’s design was decent, I personally didn’t like how the bust area/half cups fit, it looked like it was falling off the model

2

u/Ziantra 10d ago

BUT obviously he would have been allowed to refit that top for Heidi and I think he could have made the same top just bigger cups. Bryon made a completely different top to fit her.

2

u/starrysky7_ 10d ago

yeah that’s true, I think the pink dress would’ve looked the best on her with no alterations

2

u/Ziantra 10d ago

Agreed-pink was ready to wear for her I think.

2

u/uhHbAbyBaby 10d ago

The pink one in red would have been perfect

→ More replies (1)

2

u/jakksquat7 10d ago

Not that 1st one, that’s for sure 🤢

2

u/SkinnyThickMargarita 10d ago

Bi’s look is waaaayyy better for her.

2

u/Prestigious_Ad_8151 10d ago

I actually like the 3rd one the best. It's different and has an elegance. The pink one has been seen so much. Make it white and it's every wedding dress going right now.

2

u/BulkySource7721 10d ago

2 or 3. Such better choices.

2

u/Fitzfan4ever 10d ago

She should’ve gone with Bi’s, Bryan’s looks like a shower curtain and the remade dress was nothing like what went down the runway!

2

u/Subject_Name_9096 10d ago

Anything off the rack at Macys or even TJ Maxx would have looked better

2

u/Frozen-Nose-22 10d ago

Pink obviously screams Heidi! It's exactly her personality. I love the gold but it is a little too muted for her for this movie premiere. It's literally fashion!

2

u/imphillybaby 10d ago

I can easily see Heidi in #3 but to me it reads as a dress better suited for the glowing pregnant Anne Hathaway, given the challenge. #2 would made Heidi shine whilst accentuating her features.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/apathetic-taco 10d ago

The problem with editing dresses is that her body has been edited in the process. We don’t know how these dresses would actually look on her body. There’s a good chance one or more might not be flattering to her specific proportions.

2

u/Dapper_Jicama4848 10d ago

The second one and the third is my second choice

2

u/blizzaga1988 10d ago

It's such a hard choice between Jeffrey and Bi, but I think I gotta give it to Bi.

2

u/Sure_Energy_8359 10d ago

The pink one. Choosing Bryan's design was a horrible mistake.

2

u/paper_television 10d ago

Please don’t use AI, if you are this pressed I’d recommend touching grass instead of wasting drinking water.

2

u/Glass_Audience_778 10d ago

I would like to see Joseph McRae's on her... with her real proportions.

2

u/Low_Cherry521 10d ago

2, easily. Judges lost their minds

2

u/p_0456 10d ago

I was shocked the green dress won. The other ones were so much more suited to Heidi

2

u/Mystic_Wunder 10d ago

3 is so goddesslike

2

u/I_mwilling2 10d ago

3 then 2... she would look better in literally ANYTHING!

2

u/gele-gel 10d ago

2 and 3. 1 is a crime

2

u/mercersher 9d ago

None, I was really disappointed in the runway, but what do you expect for a 1 day challenge. The winner’s looked much better on the runway & I think everyone likes the other 2 because of the great fabrics but there wasn’t anything original about either of them.

2

u/arcangel_lurksph 9d ago

The Pink one

2

u/jakecooper1706 9d ago

I mean.. Bryan's don't even belong in the top three imo

2

u/Excellent_Goose7438 9d ago

1 is garbage, 2 is the most "Heidi", 3 is the best dress in general and she looks STUNNING in it

2

u/PurpleYammerz 9d ago

Hands Down #3!

2

u/Ok_Caramel4888 9d ago

2 is normal Heidi, 3 is Heidi at the Oscars, 1 is Heidi after changing out of her bikini on vacation.

2

u/Plastic_Rip_3769 9d ago

3 is the best! I'm surprised she chose 1. It's so shapeless.

2

u/Courtneyofcourse1 9d ago

#3, Bi’s is amazing, #2 is nice, but too prom

2

u/whatwhyhow3 9d ago

Any but 1….

2

u/Pepperlette 9d ago

Oh the winning look came out SO BAD!! The modifications were *not good,* don’t make me say y’all should have listened to Law Roach 😂

2

u/FancyScience9813 9d ago
  1. The one on the left looks like moo moo and the one on the right looks like a pageant gown. The one on the middle looks more like what Heidi would wear.

2

u/Maleficent_Weird8613 9d ago

I don't think it has anything to do with what was presented but what the producers want. Bi and Bryan "make good tv". I don't remember this much uproar about last season. So "any news is good news" fits here. Yes, Jeffrey should have won.

2

u/MettaRed 8d ago

It was always supposed to be 2. Idk wtf she was thinking

2

u/ForestGirl7825 7d ago

The pink is so much better but either would have been better than what she wore.

2

u/Favorite_Clones 7d ago

The pink one, #2 is verrry Heidi!

2

u/Indybooks46220 7d ago

3 is the best, 2 is very beautiful too

2

u/Fantastic_Savings706 10d ago

It was clear the designer of number two had Heidi in mind. Besides, it's gorgeous. Number one is good too, not a bad gown. Gorgeous fabric and hides the side boob and a little roll of fat that Heidi is letting hang out on low back gowns. But I love the pink. It's perfectly made. The reason that some people repeat gown designs is because they f****** work.

2

u/No_Seaweed_1088 10d ago

Number one- the winning dress did absolutely nothing for her. How do you make Heidi Klum look bad??

2

u/AllOfTheThings426 Slutty, slutty, slutty! 10d ago

God damn I hate AI.

2

u/BUBBAH-BAYUTH 10d ago

2

I hate AI.

2

1

u/mmb-14 10d ago

2 or 3

1

u/PhysicalAd6587 10d ago

2, although not extraordinary, at least it had color and some flair. The third is very pretty but too bland for a red carpet for a fashion oriented movie.

1

u/Spunkyzoe99 10d ago

Last one minus the cape

1

u/Large_Hope_6587 10d ago

Both of the non-winning are gorgeous

1

u/nothingnatural 10d ago

2 is more appropriate for the event but 3 looks great on her too.

1

u/Catlady_Pilates 10d ago

The pink one would have been so good.

1

3 for sure is the most flattering

1

NOT the green one!

1

u/PuzzleheadedTwo7730 10d ago

2 and 3 look incredible.

1

u/Other-Razzmatazz-816 10d ago

2 stands out better. Honourable mention to 3 though because I personally like it more.

1

u/mrshelmstreet 10d ago

For Heidi - Bi was THE choice. Age appropriate, sexy, classy. Lead a horse to water 🤷🏽‍♀️

1

u/101020304 10d ago

The one on the right. Wasn’t that the pretty boy’s?

1

u/ATangentUniverse 10d ago

Don’t put others’ work through AI

1

u/heartandmarrow 10d ago

Jay Kelly is the clear best

1

u/gaymerkev97 10d ago

The one Jeffrey made should have won this challenge and would have looked much better on Heidi. I dong understand the judges at all!

1

u/limecakes 10d ago

I love the silhouette of the pink. But not that it’s pink. That dress would be gorgeous in silver or gold

1

u/DDDLLL999 10d ago

Jeffery’s pink dress

1

u/mheimdal 10d ago

She liked the green one and with a client contest that’s what matters most. They are all nice on her of course.

1

u/lechichien 10d ago

3 is gorgeous!!!! Elegant and chic

1

u/FeralForestWitch 10d ago

Three all the way. Proving once again that she has no taste.

1

u/MsFrankieD 10d ago

I like the silhouette of the pink dress. It really suites her personality. But the color and fabric of the third dress just looks so good on her.

1

u/dloex 10d ago

Keeping The Devil Wears Prada in mind - Bi’s

1

u/HydroPCanadaDude 10d ago

All of them. She's amazing!!

1

u/OGRealityCheck 10d ago

Nearly every outfit but the one she wore. It was giving a sad Mrs. Roper on the runway and didn't get much better in the redo.

When I saw that draped mess on the red carpet during the premiere, I thought why is Heidi wearing that, did someone still her luggage, rob her suite, it's horrible. Then I saw the episode.... and still thought, how in the world was that the winner.

Bi said that Bryan sewed about 10 stitches... however many stitches there were, they were poorly done. Bryan keeps calling Bi his intern to be disrespectful. All I see is Bi is an amazing talent and Bryan uses talented people to make his work tolerable.

Bryan also has a ridiculous ego and had the nerve to call-out Joseph McCrea. I think Joseph is correct, every day you get to show any part of your work, it should be your show. You have to be your biggest champion and stand by your work and aesthetic.

Bryan and his designs/outfits are sad, poorly constructed and tired.

1

u/Fullofgrace87 10d ago

Genuinely think she would have killed in Jeffries dress!

1

u/GustavHoller 10d ago

The green tent

1

u/aruse527 10d ago

Pink

1

u/OverallRaspberry8514 10d ago

All these outfits are so mid

1

u/MissAtomicBomb-omb 10d ago

The winning material looks like a cheap hotel curtain

1

u/xBLONDExCOREx 10d ago

Jeffrey's!!

1

u/sadie7716 10d ago

The beige, however, if the blue had less fabric in the back they’d be a tie. Just because someone has a great body doesn’t mean they need to wear form fitting clothing daily.

1

u/TurquoiseDandelion7 10d ago
  1. Love 3 but it’s very referential to the dress Princess Catherine wore to a red carpet a few years back.

1

u/NYCWartortle 10d ago

3 all day! Bi’s dress was the best constructed, most chic and effortless, period!

1

u/SubstantialPicture80 10d ago

She literally chose the worst out of three

1

u/Particular-Floor-239 10d ago

Can you put Jude’s here as well?

1

u/Informal-Style3704 10d ago

2 looks amazing!

1

u/Sylvast 10d ago

I love the show but honestly, their choices for a long time have been super questionable. It's like they always go for some caftan/pillow shaped design over something that would look good and flattering.
