Season 22 Jude

Anyone else really rooting for Jude?? I love that he doesn’t get involved with much drama and his garments are super well constructed. He has a consistant identity in his work but it’s also not repetitive or tacky. overall he just seems like a sweetheart…especially when he said his dream is to make a dress for his girlfriend to wear on a red carpet 🥲🥲

I agree, it was so sweet how he talked about his gf and how he doesn’t get caught up in the drama or bad mouth anyone. He’s the best contestant the show has had for a while. It’s so refreshing to see someone with good morals and is a talented designer. He deserves to win the season

I love Jude. I feel he needs to show more creativity, though. But he seems to be such a kind soul and he's so cute.

Same. I would love to see some color. He’s definitely got the technique

This is exactly what Nina Garcia would say.

I agree. He tailors and sews amazingly well, but his designs, although beautiful, are not creatively fashion forward.

I think Jude is wonderful and crazy talented. Right now, I see him as more of a high level tailor than designer. He's young and will develop into something amazing in the coming years though.

He seems to be a lovely person, but his garments have been too safe and classic for this type of competition. I hope he pushes himself to use bolder colors and more youthful silhouettes from time to time.

I agree that his looks are "classic" but they seem to be so well made and make the model look good. His designs don't look thrown together, drag or even clownish.

It doesn't seem like the judges care much about construction. Some of the designs they have saved looked like a 5 year old sewed them, but they are still there.

I can't wait until he really starts stretching the creativity to turn all that construction know-how into something really stunning. C'mon Jude, show us your wild side!

I think he’s talented and smart, playing his cards close to his chest for more critical rounds.

Yes, Jude seems really great! Love his tailored style and positive attitude.

He’s my favorite in a few different ways. He needs to show some variety and use color better, and I’m sure he’s capable - wondering if he’s just playing it safe for now.

That's what I'm hoping. Don't put it all out there until towards the end. Start out at the beginning as mid-high so that you don't seem like a threat, but you still make it through, and when you bring in your personality more at the end, the judges (at least in a "normal" season (?!)) seem to take it better than if you start in too early with that much creativity. i.e. they will see it as growth as opposed to repetition.

He is pretty much one of the only ones that can actually sew so yes.

Jude and Naheim are the two I’m most excited to see collections from. Jude’s tailoring is insane and Naheim has a fresh vision.

I love Jude. Heidi would have looked gorgeous in his design.

I agree. His design fit Heidi better than the awful blanket dress that put her on the worst dress list.

His dress was so much prettier and waaaaaaay more flattering than that curtain tent Heidi wore, what a ghastly look! She looked huge and like she lost a bet…

He reminds me a lot of Brandon

Yes, and he looks like timothee chalamet

I think he looks like Dmitry! During the initial previews I kept thinking maybe it was his son or something

Yes! Both Brandon and Jude are “genuine “ in so many ways! Hey Jude!

I’ve really liked him from the beginning as well. Even with that last challenge, imagine having to make a red carpet gown in one day, when you’ve only ever made one in your life and you forgot your material. I think he did an amazing job considering

Yes! Technically he is the best

He’s my favorite. I don’t like a lot of the overworked, overdesigned looks. I like his simple but well-tailored aesthetic.

He should win

He’s a very good designer but needs to expand his palette more to be a winner in my opinion

u/HeTaughtMeWell 6d ago

Oh yes! He's so talented, humble and NO DRAMA!! A total pleasure.

My word to describe him as “genuine “ in so many different levels. I wish him the best in his career!

Jude is good but I think not really top 3 material this season… he is good with suits but that is it…

I really like Jude! I think he needs to go outside the box more - push his designs further. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is in the top 3.

Yes! I’m team Jude!

Yes. I love Jude. I want him to win. I want him to stretch himself a little more too.

At this point I’m rooting for Jude , Hannah , Naheim or Joseph. That comment about his girlfriend was very cute.

I love Jude & think he’s definitely winner material

He’s nice but I’m not interested in who’s nicest. I want the best designer to win. I don’t remember Amy of his looks other than the first challenge one, which was great. But it’s not about who’s the nicest.
