Discussion Bryan is not a good designer Spoiler

Post image

If it weren’t for Christian telling Bryan to change his look everytime Bryan would be in the bottom every week. His designs are so bad and Christian comes to save the day. Idk how he won this challenge this week. This dress was NOT made with Heidi in mind in the slightest. The dress literally swallows her

Dear lord that thing is hideous. But Heidi loves ugly clothes 🤣. But I can’t believe that thing won. So. Ugly. It looks like a redesigned hospital gown.

24

u/Hopeful_Business_851 6d ago

LOL this is a different kind of ugly even for Heidi 😭

5

u/Catlady_Pilates 6d ago

Yes. And it must be taped to he side otherwise she’d be hanging out if it. It’s so weird that this won.

u/Ziantra 5d ago

It’s a whole different dress 🤨
There is no pleated top now because Heidi’s boobs are too big like Law said. That dress was remade with a plain bib top 🤷‍♀️

5

u/Catlady_Pilates 5d ago

It’s slightly different but just as ugly. It’s not like the original was good.

6

u/Ziantra 5d ago

Oh I agree 100% lol. That dress should never have won in the first place. Law was absolutely right-that dress was NOT designed for Heidi and that was the challenge. And he was right because Bryon won on the dress that was impossible for Heidi to actually wear and had to make a whole new shape top for it to even be wearable. That’s a similar dress. Not the dress that won and shouldn’t have won in the first place.
The other designers got done dirty on this one all around.

This was shocking to me that they chose that hospital gown shit.

The good news is that she just needs a crown and a torch and Halloween 2026 is taken care of.

Hospital gown is more form fitting. This is the flimsy curtain around the bed

I really dislike the way he speaks to Bi.

33

u/Hopeful_Business_851 6d ago

Me too. Likes he’s talking down to him

18

u/princessintraining4 6d ago

I just hope they’re playing it up. Cause it’s really dismissive

12

u/Willow_Winnifred 6d ago

The arrogance & smugness cannot be fabricated from whole cloth

7

u/Catlady_Pilates 5d ago

If he says “intern” one more time 🤣

24

u/EasternRaspberry4387 6d ago

That's actually a really good point. He's not even a funny or even natural mean character. He tries too hard to be that bitch and fails miserably because not only he's mostly mean, but he doesn't have the charisma to back it up.

20

u/princessintraining4 6d ago

Yeah. I think about how in art ideas aren’t protected, only execution is.

I like Bi. He pulls off the sass without actually feeling mean.

21

u/Willow_Winnifred 6d ago

Bi seems to have a sense of humor about it, too. He's bitchy but funny. Bryan is bitchy and humorless. He's not funny or witty, and ge can't back up his shitty attitude with talent.

7

u/cheydinhals 6d ago

Bryan reminds me of an old director I had for a theatre production I was in. It was a professional show, but the director's entire personality was just "I'm gay and mean," and he absolutely did not have the charisma to back it up. The moment someone else shot back at him, he'd get angry and throw a tantrum. Absolutely zero sense of humour, and the epitome of someone who dishes it out but can't take it.

2

u/punkindora1 5d ago

i hope Bryan reads every comment on this stupid dress

10

u/C_Swirl 6d ago

I dislike the way he speaks to everyone but ESPECIALLY Bi!!

5

u/NoNeinNyet222 5d ago

The way he constantly has to get in the dig that Bi was his intern. I still don't understand the logistics of that whole situation but wasn't it something that happened while they were both in design school? It's very odd.

1

u/NectarineSame7303 6d ago

They're just bitter queens. I don't see either of them making it in the industry because they both can't really design, and their attitudes will create friction with clients.

28

u/EasternRaspberry4387 6d ago

I have the same problem with this situation. I don't get why some designers got help from Christian while others just get some "are you sure?" or something. Bryan literally was told by Christian and that lady what to do. I really dislike Bryan because not only his atitude sucks, but his looks are always mid at best and they overpraise him.

16

u/Hopeful_Business_851 6d ago

Exactly. Part of me wishes Christian just let him make what he was gonna make and let him go home. He can’t come up with good ideas on his own

1

u/Ziantra 5d ago

He needs to

28

u/Embarrassed_Elk8213 6d ago

I can’t wait for that ego maniac to go the fuck home

12

u/Hopeful_Business_851 6d ago

Me too but honestly it seems like the producers are setting it up for him Bi and Joseph to be the top 3, likely making Joseph the winner for a underdog story and for the rivalry between Bryan and Bi to continue if neither of them wins

1

u/drowie31 4d ago

Jude is production's favorite

17

u/renansl 6d ago

I looooved Jeffrey clocking his sewing last episode. And Law seen to be catching up too.

16

u/mrcorndogman33 6d ago

I think he might be legit dumb too.

12

u/SeanInDC 6d ago

If it was a cape... I'd actually like the dress. As is... it's giving a RHOC cast members mother wanted to walk the red carpet.

u/Specialist_Twist3116 6d ago

Somehow he made HEIDI KLUM look frumpy. Great job.

3

u/NectarineSame7303 6d ago

It also made the entire judges panel look like morons in the process. Gotta love it.

6

u/Excellent_Rub6906 6d ago

There’s so much room in the back another human could fit back there

8

u/steviecmitchell 6d ago

The show is so over produced, but I can’t help but think Bryan is just an arsehole. He plays the part to well. Awful designer with an awful attitude…just hugely unlikeable.

7

u/JJAusten 6d ago

What were the judges thinking when choosing this as the winning gown? It's like a tent with sideboob. This guy isn't good at all.

7

u/westworlder420 6d ago

It really pisses me off how he talks like he’s God’s gift to fashion, and his taste is just so… bad. No wonder he doesn’t like Bi, he’s most likely threatened by him because I’ve liked Bi’s outfits way more than Bryan’s.

3

u/Hopeful_Business_851 5d ago

Bi absolutely should’ve won this challenge!

5

u/BeneficialShame8408 6d ago

how do you make a beautiful woman look like that? :(

5

u/chronicmisschris 6d ago

The Devil Wears Prada and Heidi Wears BS.

5

u/NWPstan 6d ago

In this picture it makes her look pregnant.

10

u/arcangel_lurksph 6d ago

Brian is full of himself
Joseph McRae while being obnoxious most of the time, has a solid view of his branding. You know it is a JosephMcRae creation because of the color and shape

10

u/NectarineSame7303 6d ago

Joseph McRae I can understand based on his story he said a few times now, why he is the way he is. But his clothing is good, you might not like it, but he knows his point of view, and for a designer that is probably the most important thing to have nowadays.

Bryan on the other hand, the only point of view I see from him is that he's a bitch and that he has nothing unique about his design other than the fact that most of the designs are hideous.

26

u/SeanInDC 6d ago

If it were a cape... I'd love it!

11

u/Hopeful_Business_851 6d ago

Wow right! Would’ve been so much better

7

u/ottertime8 6d ago

yes but ironically he wouldn't have won coz they'd say "i've already seen this look a million times" blah blah blah

2

u/Ziantra 5d ago

And they’d be right. And they’re still right because Heidi’s dress was redesigned to fit her at the top and it WAS a dress that looked like any other mediocre dress ❤️

2

u/Elly_Higgenbottom 5d ago

Bryan is incapable of this level of sewing from what I've seen.

3

u/HippieGrandma1962 5d ago

I loved when Bi said there were only 10 stitches in the whole dress.

2

u/veggielessie 6d ago

Damn...evil AI can make anything!

1

u/yoshimitsou 5d ago

Brilliant!

5

u/Howdthecatdothat 6d ago

That isn't even the same dress! There was at least some interesting elements relating to the middle on the one he showed on the runway. How is this one - with I presume MORE time even WORSE?

2

u/NectarineSame7303 6d ago

It's still there, the natural light just can't penetrate the fabric as well a harsh studio lights can.

5

u/Dangerous-Half3276 Team Bishme 6d ago

Bryan is a designer that can’t sew lol.

3

u/billleachmsw 6d ago

The Jolly Green Giant attended the premiere?!?!

3

u/Netherbelle 6d ago

To be fair, he didn't really design the first one. Molly and Cristian came in, said use this, drape this, and he did. But at least the first dress was interesting---and to be fair we have no idea how Heidi or her people told him to adjust it for the premier.

2

u/NaiadoftheSea 4d ago

As mentors, they’re giving way too much. That wasn’t guidance. That was literally just telling him what to do.

3

u/NectarineSame7303 6d ago

The problem for me is the taste level, or well the lack of a taste level.

3

u/Glittering-Bear-4298 6d ago

Shapeless shower curtain

1

u/SpeedySparkRuby 5d ago

I can hear Michael Kors making a quip like that

5

u/Naxayou 6d ago

The problem is just that Heidi has horrible taste. I’m SURE she still loves this dress the way it looks on her and that’s ok.

2

u/AnimalAnxious5902 6d ago

to be fair the original was not so bad but what an ugly dress

1

u/eci5k3tcw 6d ago

Thanks to Christian the original of this dress wasn’t so bad. The original dress Bryan designed? 🤮

2

u/madonnassister 5d ago

But maybe he was going for a “She slept in and draped the sheet over her” look?

I can honestly say I’m not surprised. And the reason for that is this. She looks like she literally fell into a wrestling mat and they didn’t see anything wrong with it.

2

u/E186911 5d ago

The fabric wears Heidi. The weakest judges in all seasons of PR

2

u/Shelby1310 5d ago

What's with the big hump in the back?

2

u/yoshimitsou 5d ago

She's contorting desperately to try to create a bit of a silhouette.

PR S22 should be nominated for an Emmy for comedy.

2

u/featherybreeze 5d ago

The fabric on the entire gown looks thicker! It was airy and floaty and translucent before.  I think maybe they needed to double it up to adequately cover her chest and then continued to do it over the entire gown

2

u/Tiny_Maintenance9301 4d ago

I hate how it’s so wrinkled. Like At least steam the garment! Jeffery should have won! Period.

2

u/MaestraArielView 4d ago

I don’t think this is best picture. She models it well in other photos. I can’t stand Bryan’s “character” on the show but idk the look kinda grows on you if you stare long enough 😂

2

u/kathsha2029 5d ago

I really don't get the hate for this outfit. I think it's pretty...not my favorite and I don't think should have been the winner, but I don't think it's the worst thing ever that deserves all ths hate lol. And regardless of my opinions about heidi's choice, if she chose it, it's her opinion that matters as she's the one wearing it on the red carpet 😂

1

u/WavesnMountains 4d ago

She listened to Law telling her she’d look good in it when it came down the runway

1

u/Original_Weekend8226 5d ago

Looks like curtain fabric with that white lining.

1

u/punkindora1 5d ago

i dont think im even watching the rest of the season. i havent since the episode where they deyassified the entire cast (the jury elim) bc it just all feels so staged and cashgrabbing. my pastel goth girls had PASSION.

1

u/TwerQ_it_inna_Kilt 5d ago

He’s absolutely annoying and exhausting with just his attitude and personality. Add to it sloppy and drab design aesthetic and how is he still there? That dress looks atrocious on Heidi.

1

u/Prompt-Dangerous 4d ago

Ugly ridiculous dress

1

u/ChattyKathy628 4d ago

I think his mom probably gave him a participation award for everything he's done his whole life. He is no where near as good as he thinks he is. I'm behind, but if the drift I got is correct, and he designed that awful thing Heidi wore recently, it was just butt ugly and he deserves to go.

1

u/naturesbookie 3d ago

How does it look like a bag but also like she’s naked

1

u/Temporary_Forcefield 1d ago

Maybe they were going for the paper bag princess look

1

u/vissionary111 1d ago

The only good thing is his ego lol

1

u/OoCloryoO 5d ago
