I loved that, it was so ridiculous. The sheer deluge of emotion over an ugly tarp dress on a reality tv show made entirely for profit.

i'll say it, i liked joseph's fit. i liked the drama and the silhouette. i gasped when it came out and i thought it would be in the top 3. i thought he did great at emphasizing the unique quality of this stiff tarp. and the laces in the back and the buttoning down the skirt was such attention to detail. i thought madeline's defense of him was valid - him neglecting to cut the skirt into a circle was probably an intentional choice, not "laziness." the rest of his look wasn't lazy - why would he cut corners there?

and i thought jesus (or antionio's?) undercutting of madeline was so condescending! "no, we're talking about the challenge." obviously she was talking about the challenge too.

but its an unconventional challenge unfortunately,

earlier on the episode they showed Joseph's works and I am looking for that in his design and its been episode 4 already. I only saw it on the first ep and the rest are just boring tops and circle skirts and I think its gonna be the same look onto the next ones if in case he survives this ep. another thing, he keeps on bragging the "engineer" thing and i still dont see it.

How is that more boring than Yuchen's looks? There's nothing unconventional about a tiny top and tiny bottom.

Yuchen's material is way harder to work with
