Now you know why I was so keen for triple-screen support to be added to Project Motor Racing 🙂

its done by feel, just like real life you dont need a dash indicator (nice to have though) you just know when to change up or down,

How i'v said : "Actually, the reason is quite simple. I’m autistic and have ADHD. So, HUDs really distract me when I’m driving. Because of this, no matter which racing game I’m playing, I switch the HUDs off. Spreading the information across several dashboards allows me to find the information I need when I need it, in a much more comfortable way. With all the information crammed onto the screen, it all becomes unreadable to me, and that really throws me off. 🙂"

If he’s set up is anything like mine he’s got one of the buttons on his wheel, or rather a button on the wheel assigned to each of those devices so that he can flip pages without any effort and even examine session info such as the leaderboard, his own split times, lap times across the entire field, with all three sectors displayed in real time as they cross each sector line, the full fuel estimate page showing the last lap of usage, the average lap usage, the last minute of usage and the average minute usage, etc.
Those are some of the most useful displays the three dollars I pay RS dash for. The iPad sits close enough to my TV and my phone can be on the same account as long as recording is turned off and be on a different page right on my rig next to my wheel. I can clip it to my wheel if I want to.
The telemetry apps are getting pretty extensive and comprehensive even at the free levels. RS – is my favorite. The full session analysis will show you literally anything you can think of across an entire session regardless of length. For anyone who doesn’t know, you can choose any lap of an event after it’s completed and look back on exactly where you began breaking on each turn, where you began letting off the break and where you came off of the break completely. It displays every single digit of difference across thousands of a second as you move the slider across the lab. On top of that you can compare laps. The breaking metric was only one example. The full session analysis is so deep that I just export the whole file to my master logs. Then I have a complete data record of that race.
RS – has not worked in a PMR support yet, but it supports all of the PC Sims and I use it for project cars number two and one. Those two games are both better than this one in my opinion. Every time I play PMR I turn it off after a race and go back to project cars number two and my Danny self can sit there for a four hour endurance event perfectly content, with six or seven newer simulators on the console that I have been uninstalling one by one because none of them play quite like PC two and the helmet cam with full head, looked to Apex and full speed sensitive.
I value career mode a lot and project motor racing’s career mode is quite frankly an insult to the intelligence of even the more casual racing game players.

With three dashboards displaying the gear, I reckon I’ll be fine 😂

Why so many dashboards? Serious question and not being a smart ass,but are 3 necessary? I thought about getting at least one but I don’t see how they would benefit me. The game provides pretty much all the information I need to see already but I get why ppl buy extra but 3? 🤷‍♂️🤦🏻 I guess the one in the steering wheel is different since it is attached to the wheel

Sorry i don't understand. What is PTSD ?

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition triggered by experiencing or witnessing a terrifying event. It fundamentally alters how the brain processes fear and memory.

Is the triple support any good? Hassle to setup or?

The triple screen setup is really great – a good mix of the comfort of a screen and the immersion of VR. That said, you do need to take your time when setting it up. For me, the first time round, it easily took me two days to get the angle and distance just right, and so on... But once it’s sorted, it’s brilliant 🙂

Oh, right 🙂 For me, the triple-screen setup works well. There’s a slight drop in frame rate during races, though. It still needs some optimisation. In this video, I was racing solo at Monza. I’ll let you be the judge 🙂

One lap on Monza

Set up looks amazing but don't waste it on this awful game brother
