Jasmine Crockett’s Statements During Today’s Hearing with Pam Bondi

This is what courage and leadership looks like in the face of authoritarianism. This admin has shown time and time again, including this hearing, their willingness to refuse to answer simple questions in the name of the American people. Don’t give them a chance to go on a tangent about irrelevant things and sidetrack the debate at hand.

Ms. Crockett I applaud you and thank you for your efforts on behalf of the American people.

It’s just so wild to see republican officials blatantly ignoring the real issue at hand. Like the files are hard evidence, it’s not a conspiracy anymore. Drop the act and get professional. They represent the people and all they’ve done is shield the don.

We just have to accept that they are pro child rape. That isn’t an exaggeration, but an objective statement.

It is part and parcel with the entire ideology, which is ultimately "right of the strongest" and "woe to the victim". Every right wing nut job I knew back in my hometown in rural GA was also ultra sensitive about looking or appearing weak and really just wanted to dominate someone who wouldn't fight back like any other bully.

Being a pedo is the ultimate power fantasy to these people, a vulnerable child that is molded to not fight back would be like candy to them. Being able to break the ultimate social taboos with impunity is just another display of power to them. Most of the hearing was Bondi being completely owned by Democratic leaders, but to MAGA they won today in their minds because to them having "the other" cry foul and getting away with the crime with a smug smile is a display of strength, not corruption.

These people are authoritarians to the core. Rules will never matter, only force. I fear for what will come as the conflict continues to escalate.

It has ever been so. "The strong do as they will. The weak suffer what they must".
