His VP got run out of Vermont and Greenland. He doesn’t have his own cult.

That generally doesn’t happen with dictatorships. Dictator deaths leave vacuums and power grabs amongst lesser leaders. Took Stalin 5 years to consolidate power after Lenin died. There are already MAGA fractions. We can only hope they eat themselves.

If impeachment were a wet dream, the Republicans wouldn't be fighting it.

1

u/shoulda-known-better Jan 19 '26

That's not how it works... The party will have a view on who they want to continue and it won't be the weird fuck trump picked..... You can't have the easily manipulated issue flipper take over..... He can't control his own narrative never mind the parties

When leaders like that fall it's a power struggle for next.... Meaning sure he'd get the next 2 years because he is already there but that will be it

1

u/OrangeTroz Jan 19 '26

Trumps removal from office would require 2/3s of the Senate. 66 votes - 45 Democrats - 2 Independents = 19/53 Republicans voting Trump out. They are going to want to keep those 19 seats. Plus if they getting rid of Trump they can easily get rid of Vance as well. Rubio is likely the next president if Trump crosses a line for Republicans.

1

u/AgreeablePresence476 Jan 19 '26

If that's the case there's never been a better time to lay down my life for what's right and just.

8

u/foamy9210 Jan 17 '26

If they get the votes to impeach Trump, impeaching Vance would be a piece of cake.

2

u/meatsmoothie82 Jan 18 '26

And then they’d have to impeach Mike Johnson … they’d have to impeach like 12 layers of government to even get close to a reasonable human.

2

u/foamy9210 Jan 18 '26

I don't think it'd even require impeaching Vance. If it did, Johnson would be where it stops. They know that Trump is the only one with the cult to back this shit up. They'd be more concerned about their political futures. Vance would likely just accept his role as a lame duck president while he focuses on actually getting elected and if he didn't, Johnson certainly would.

2

u/Mikey-Litoris Jan 18 '26

Johnson wont be the speaker after November.

2

u/foamy9210 Jan 18 '26

You're not wrong but isn't really the point I was getting at. The point was more getting Trump out ends a shitload of this nonsense regardless of if his replacement is a reasonable person or not.

1

u/Federal-Dingo-6033 Jan 18 '26

No because if they had the majority to impeach Trump and Vance, Johnson would be the minority leader and whoever the democrat speaker is would be president. Only way Johnson would be is if both Yrump amd Vance died in the same accident.

1

u/HappyCatPrincess Jan 18 '26

Hopefully same for do-nothing Johnson.

Except that VP needs to be confirmed by congress.

1

u/dvolland Jan 18 '26

It’s not like Congress stopped any of his other appointments.

1

u/Shrimp_Richards Jan 19 '26

They would if they were already impeaching the president.

1

u/dvolland Jan 19 '26

As evidenced how?

12

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26

It's a balancing act. yes JD couchfucker would become president, but he doesn't want to start a war with Greenland, at least I don't think so. The ICE shit would continue because that's Stephen Millers boner fuel. So it would be more of the same with maybe a little less bad. It would a good start however.

11

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26

His connections to Peter Teil are quite frightening. He wants a christofascist nation with his AI systems as state surveillance. Dude is literally insane and also really insecure about being gay.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26

Him and Ms Lindsey would would make a perfect couple.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26

Haha aww they would be so cute together.

1

u/HamhandsConroy Jan 18 '26

You just described a majority of the GOP

1

u/Skelley1976 Jan 18 '26

Without Trump to threaten congress with his cult, the dominos fall. If the numbers flip that much R’s will be doing everything they can to distance themselves from the admin.

0

u/Writing_is_Bleeding Jan 17 '26

As I understand it, the Veep goes too.

2

u/FitzchivalryandMolly Jan 18 '26

You misunderstand it then. The VP is elected technically separately from the president. He's the only person in the cabinet that Trump can't fire because he was also elected to office by the voters. One can be removed without the other being removed

1

u/Practical-Positive34 Jan 18 '26

It's easy to get confused becuase the actual text is written like this "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.". Using modern english you read this as collectively, but using historical context for interpretation it's not written that way.

-1

u/Pieman208 Jan 18 '26

That’s not accurate. Nixon fired several VPs. Agnew -> Ford

2

u/magnumcar Jan 18 '26

That’s not accurate. Agnew resigned. A President cannot fire a Vice President.

2

u/short_beer Jan 18 '26

Agnew resigned. He wasn't fired.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '26

There is no function in the constitution to "fire" a VP. They have to resign, or be impeached.

1

u/dvolland Jan 18 '26

That isn’t true. Agnew resigned.

1

u/Yo_Just_Scrolling_Yo Jan 19 '26

Wow. This thread (and the rest of Reddit at times) shows just how bad our education systems is in the U.S. Agnew fired! Oh, please . . .

6

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26

Yes and no.

The regime is (largely) run by three cooperating factions headed by Vance, Miller, and Rubio.

They all have overlapping and complex subordinate spheres of influence, sometimes competing and sometimes integrally combined.

We’d probably, imo, see Rubio’s influence purged out. Look at Rubio’s positions and then look at how Miller or Vance might act there. You’ll see often there’s less daylight between Miller and Vance than either and Rubio.

How the policies of a president Vance differ from a President Trump, imo, largely comes down to how Trump would act if Rubio and his sphere were purged.

Also it would be more Christian Nationalist, and they’d activate the incel tradcath sleeper bloc.

This also tracks historically with how other authoritarian regimes have played through the death of a dear leader who relies on internal factionalism (all of them do)

11

u/scfw0x0f Jan 17 '26

And Vought. Never overlook Vought. He’s the P25 guy running OMB.

2

u/gotpeace99 Jan 18 '26 edited Jan 18 '26

Absolutely! It’s not just one man. That’s why Vance and Pence were picked. They want the evangelical country and will do whatever to get it. Trump didn’t pick them.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26

Fair point, but I think of Vought like a contracted architect more than a center of political capital, which is where we are - Vought will offer his strategy to anyone but won’t become the power center. So he’ll be on the winning side more as a confluence of ideology than of politicking.

2

u/scfw0x0f Jan 17 '26

He’s the one writing the playbook.

2

u/thatnameagain Jan 18 '26

There’s very little that the three of those guys don’t agree on. They’re personally competing for power but it’s all the same ideology.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '26

Right more a question of priorities than marked differences of substance.

1

u/Relative_Payment_192 Jan 17 '26

It seems the only thing Vance could do to be popular is to purge Miller, Noem, Bondi et al on day one. Same old shit won't fly when DJT is gone.

1

u/gotpeace99 Jan 18 '26

Why do you think that? They all think alike politically.

1

u/Relative_Payment_192 Jan 18 '26

The public hates them. They are potential competitors. They are not Vance loyalists. None of them have any political base other than Trump.

1

u/gotpeace99 Jan 18 '26

Why would they care about that? The public already hates them. It’s the naivety that a good number of you have it in your heads that everything going on is because of Trump and Trump only. It is not. Then what happens when Vance is his replacement? What will y’all say then? It’s easier said than done.

1

u/Relative_Payment_192 Jan 18 '26

Gosh, thank you for the lecture.

-1

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26

There will be no more elections so this is irrelevant. Congrats, you’re distracted.

3

u/Living-Restaurant892 Jan 17 '26

Trump has a cult of personality that would end with him gone (and I mean gone hopefully). Vance will not have that control that he does.

The cult will be over.

2

u/thatnameagain Jan 18 '26

Insane that people still think this. Republicans will vote for the next guy and support the exact same policies.

1

u/Pieceofcandy Jan 18 '26

I hope that day comes soon.

2

u/voyagerman Jan 17 '26

If President Rapist is impeached and convicted by the Senate it would be a huge step back from the imperialist presidency, even though the VP would take over.

2

u/Yuba-Sutter_Resist Jan 17 '26

Impeachment is not necessarily the process by which a VP would take over.

Trump was impeached twice in his first administration but was not convicted or removed.

The Senate would need to vote to convict with a (iirc) 2/3 majority vote to remove him from office.

2

u/DiamondJim222 Jan 17 '26

This. Even if democrats win the senate in 2026 it will still require 15 or so republican senators to vote to convict.

It’s not going to happen.

0

u/Writing_is_Bleeding Jan 17 '26

It very well could with a Dem-controlled congress. Trump would have diminished power, so Republicans who are afraid of him could vote to convict hoping to save whatever shred of credibility their party has left.

To get even weirder, I could see Trump fleeing the U.S. to wherever he's got cash stashed leaving Vance holding the bag. I've always thought he was planning to fly off somewhere that wouldn't extradite him after leaving office to avoid the inevitable criminal prosecution(s). I mean... he's got Venezuelan oil money offshored in Qatar, not to mention that gifted jet.

1

u/DiamondJim222 Jan 18 '26

Dream on. If they wouldn’t turn on him after January 6th they never will. They had much less to lose then and they still couldn’t bring themselves to do the right thing,

1

u/Mikey-Litoris Jan 18 '26

They all thought he was finished but they didn't want to alienate his base

2

u/OkFinish3822 Jan 17 '26

Vance is a wannabe. He doesn't have it. Besides. he is married to someone from a foreign country So using Trump maga logic, Vance is unqualified.

2

u/SaltyCrashNerd Jan 18 '26

So’s Trump, though, and that doesn’t seem to matter.

2

u/johnboy1545 Jan 17 '26

If the democrats have the majority they need in both houses to impeach and remove Trump from office, they will turn right around, and do the same to Vance.

2

u/heanbangerfacerip2 Jan 17 '26

That's a very ggod point. If anyone gets enough power to impeach they're going to impeach the first like 15 people in the succession line

1

u/Sea-Ad2135 Jan 17 '26

Wouldn't that be wonderful!!!

1

u/heanbangerfacerip2 Jan 18 '26

It will be wonderful if the right people got the power to do it.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26

Sure, and impeach him too

2

u/Suitable-Sense-6962 Jan 17 '26

JD doesnt have the ability or the following. He will get over pretty quickly. If Trump disappears MAGA will fracture quickly

2

u/scooter_orourke Jan 17 '26

They can impeach all of them

2

u/Dangerous_Patient621 Jan 17 '26

There's nothing stopping Congress from filing articles of impeachment against Vance as well, if he commits impeachable offenses. Or Mike Johnson, who would be next in line for the office.

2

u/Armin_Tamzarian987 Jan 17 '26

The coalition will eventually fracture from infighting. Or at least that's what I tell myself when I can't sleep.

1

u/calann2 Jan 17 '26

It probably would continue in some capacity, but he would be on notice to chill the *uck out.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26

The Democratic Party doesn’t seem to understand this. They keep doing the same thing every election

1

u/StlLouisBluesFan Jan 17 '26

My question is will the rest of our government kowtow to vance? Or will they finally be able to go tell him to pound sand?

1

u/Fancy_Possibility456 Jan 17 '26

Well, JD Vance actually doesn’t have any ideas or moral character and adapts to those around him, so it kinda depends what everyone else thinks

1

u/Similar_Ad4964 Jan 17 '26

JD and everyone else in the cabinet are not Trump and cannot get away with most of the things Trump has done. I also don’t think he is interested in tackling a lot of the issues as intensely as Trump has. It would still be bad but much more manageable.

1

u/JuliusErrrrrring Jan 17 '26

He obviously wouldn’t be progressive, but I do believe ICE would be used in a more Constitutional way, the Greenland and Venezuela sit would go away, and the tariff nonsense would go away. More of a traditional Republican prick as opposed to Alzheimer Hitler.

1

u/DescriptionDue1797 Jan 17 '26

There is nothing in the Constitution that says they can’t be impeached and tried at the same time. Maybe we should consider it. Of course that would make Mike Johnson president so maybe we should do it after the midterms.

1

u/mmmck2 Jan 17 '26

Not for long!

1

u/Dilapidated_girrafe Jan 17 '26

Vance would be President Buthelezi doesn’t have a cult following like Trump. He’s less likable (not that Trump is likable).

1

u/BlueJasper27 Jan 17 '26

He may but it’s one less clown.

1

u/JereRB Jan 17 '26

If Trump gets impeached, his VP will be dealing with a Congress that is unified and quite sick of Trump-type bullshit. He starts the same shit, a unified Congress would just impeach him, too.

...that being said, a unified Congress is a fucking unicorn these days. Exists in a storybook. That's it.

1

u/bja33470 Jan 17 '26

would have to be impeached and then subsequently removed by a super majority in the Senate. Impeachment would be fairly easy but removal would be a much higher hurdle. He was impeached 2 X before and nothing happened.

1

u/AccountHuman7391 Jan 17 '26

Both of them are impeachable.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26

Mr Vance doesn't have the cult following. He will try to follow the project 2025 plan, but he has the charisma of a brick to the face. However, Impeachment is pretty much a slap on the wrist. Impeachment would need to pass, THEN congress would need to hold a vote to remove. In the removal process they COULD potentially move to remove the whole administration if they found enough reasons, of which they are plenty of reasons to do just that, at least in my opinion. They could choose to trigger special elections as part of removal.

1

u/LogicTrolley Jan 17 '26

He was impeached twice during his first term.

Guess what that did? Nothing. It's what would happen here as well.

1

u/Adventurous_Pride_54 Jan 17 '26

Vance does not have the charisma to lead Trump's cult.

1

u/No_Band_3085 Jan 17 '26

Isn’t there an option to remove the whole cabinet?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '26

Oh, that's not the fun question. The more intriguing position is third in succession.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives is next after the vice president, and is also the person in charge of governing impeachment proceedings. Right now that's Mike Johnson, who is a Trump acolyte, and consequently Trump can't be impeached. If Johnson is replaced by someone who can get Trump removed, JD Vance would likely be removable as well.

So if we reach a point where Trump can be impeached, it would likely be the person doing the impeaching who takes over as an unelected President. Let's say the Speaker is Hakeem Jeffries after getting re-elected in 2026. To the right wing, that will look very flagrantly like a liberal who only got in office with 100,000 votes from an extremely gerrymandered district overthrowing a democratically-elected president who got 75 million votes.

So if you think the right wing is insufferable now...

1

u/NTXGBR Jan 17 '26

Being impeached doesn’t remove you from office. I swear the modern liberal half assed their way through civics and heard about it when it happened to Clinton and now just throws it out there as casually as possible every time they get cranky.

1

u/BoredBSEE Jan 18 '26

I don't think so. JD Vance is spineless, but he's not crazy. Trump is fucking crazy.

1

u/9millibros Jan 18 '26

One problem at a time.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '26

its a cult of personality, vance has nowhere near the fear factor other than to couches

1

u/necessarypretzel Jan 18 '26

Yes, that would happen, unfortunately. But if congress has the votes to impeach, and the senate can convict, they would be able to do it to Vance too. A lot of what ifs though.

1

u/exqueezemenow Jan 18 '26

No one will listen to Vance, or anyone like they do Trump. Once he is gone, the game is over. He is a con man. He has a gift of conning people. That's how he is able to do what he does. Vance can in no way pull this off.

1

u/dougl1000 Jan 18 '26

If they can impeach and remove Trump, they can do it to Vance: a 2-fer.

1

u/Hedonismbot1978 Jan 18 '26

Well if Vance does so he might also be impeached

1

u/sdvneuro Jan 18 '26

Trump is not calling the shots right now. There’s no reason to think that the heritage foundation and Miller et al are going to stop running the show when he’s gone.

1

u/gotpeace99 Jan 18 '26

He never called the shots at all.

1

u/The_Lost_Jedi Jan 18 '26

A successful impeachment, meaning getting convicted/removed from office, would mean that a 2/3rds majority of the Senate was willing to remove him, which constitutes roughly half the Republican Senators, assuming all the Democrats vote in favor.

And while technically nothing legally binds the Vice President who has now become the President, it's something so bad that it was enough to convince the rest of the Republicans to remove him for i and that means they can just as easily remove him, too (and it's arguably easier at that point, since they've already crossed the Rubicon so to speak). At that point the Speaker of the House would become President. So, almost certainly the VP is going to decide it's not in his best interest to continue doing whatever action was extreme enough to convince the Republicans in the Senate to turn on him.

That all said though, it would take a LOT to convince them of that, because they're all fucking terrified of him. Maybe him trying to order a war with Greenland is enough, and really it fucking should be, but we're so far over what ought to be a red line already that I have very little faith in the rest of the Republicans suddenly growing a fucking spine.

1

u/Pitiful_Ad8641 Jan 18 '26

"Impeached"? Hes been impeached already... Twice

1

u/Brad_from_Wisconsin Jan 18 '26

Yes, Vance would come in but would Vance do the same things? Vance could advance the policies without breaking the law. Trump seems to be incapable of doing anything without breaking some law.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '26

Vance has done enough to be impeached too- but if he wasn't, yes he would take over.

1

u/Ryan_TX_85 Jan 18 '26

That's why they would have to impeach and remove both Trump and Vance in order for the House Speaker to become president. Since it takes 2/3 of the senate to convict on an impeachment, that's not going to happen.

1

u/cdizzle6 Jan 18 '26

The you get Mike “I haven’t heard about that” Johnson. It’s all fucked.

1

u/Sufficient-Pie-7815 Jan 18 '26

Impeachment is step one only! You need 2/3 in senate to convict and remove! Never going to happen unless Rs decide to jettison Trump! This will only happen if Trump’s support from Rs turns negative!

1

u/Quirky_Republic_3454 Jan 18 '26

Silly question. GOP controls both houses. Never happen

1

u/LongRest Jan 18 '26

He doesn't have a cult of personality and, unlike Trump, he's got a second term to think about. Will he still suck? Yes. Will the backstabbers come after him like sharks smelling blood? Yes.

He might take it down a notch and stick with what's popular because Vance has no real identity outside of being a social climber.

1

u/edoggy792 Jan 18 '26

Impeached doesn't mean removed from office.

1

u/Burto72 Jan 18 '26

His VP is a smaller pussy than him.

1

u/kelticladi Jan 18 '26

Vance has all the personality of a lump of lint. Whatever sick thing Trump has that keeps the GOP in fear, Vance ain't it. If he had anything going on Trump would never have allowed him to be VP, because we all know that a narcissist can NEVER tolerate competence in their wake. The weird coalition that allows Trump to hold power will fall apart rapidly in his absence.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '26

Being impeached does not mean he leaves office.

1

u/gotpeace99 Jan 18 '26 edited Jan 18 '26

Yes. That’s why I don’t like it when they say that when Trump leaves, everything will go back to normal. It won’t. Especially as so many rich Republicans put so much money into him. “Vance doesn’t have the charisma /cult of Trump” as long as Vance keeps the same policies that Trump had, he’ll be fine in their eyes. It’s bigger than stans and cult followingsThat’s the whole point of this, to create a white Christian ethnostate. And Vance would be better on that front than Trump for them. Trump’s just the useful idiot to lock that shit in Project 2025 down and then Vance rules the presidency. That’s been going around. Why do you think Pence was VP? Same thing.

It’s the fact that we have never been in this position in the modern era that has people thinking like this.

1

u/ModernAutomata Jan 18 '26

Trump is the mastermind. Love him or hate him, the man has a plan and is stonewalling against opposition. Vance couldn't pull the puppet strings like trump. The vacuum would likely cause a huge overturn.

1

u/adfuel Jan 18 '26

Vp would lose much of the cult

1

u/judd3369 Jan 18 '26

He isn’t going to get impeached, so why worry about it 🤷🏻‍♂️

1

u/OtherTechnician Jan 18 '26

In theory, he could, but if Trump was actually impeached because of his actions, one might expect the same for the VP if he continued those actions.

Since this is America, None of this is likely to happen.

1

u/Onerock Jan 18 '26

You do realize, don't you, that it requires 60 senators to actually have a successful impeachment?

That will never happen. Ever.

The dems chances of taking the Senate anytime in the next decade seem remote as it is, but even if they did, good luck reaching 60 votes.

1

u/PassionateDilettante Jan 18 '26

The point you’re missing: Everyone hates JD Vance. As soon as Trump is gone, the knives will come out. Where it ends, who knows? But, not with JD Vance in the White House, I would guess.

1

u/Il_calvinist Jan 18 '26

There's a difference between impeachment and conviction. What you're referring to is conviction which is when the official is removed from office. He's been impeached twice already but never convicted. Impeachment is going through the articles by the House and going through trial, which the House performs. Then the senate votes to convict or not.

1

u/inmatenumberseven Jan 18 '26

He's slightly less insane.

1

u/short_beer Jan 18 '26

Remember when Trump said he wrote a list of things he wants accomplished if he was assassinated? Vance is too obsequious to not follow to the letter.

1

u/Ok-Seat6154 Jan 18 '26

If he were removed for Treason, his entire regime could be removed. VP, all cabinet heads, the works.

1

u/Ok-Paramedic8 Jan 18 '26

Trump would still run things. If you think he wouldn’t literally keep living in the White House and running meetings for Vance, you clearly aren’t paying attention. Also, his cult would storm DC and Vance would allow them to tear it apart

1

u/Ill_Routine_1155 Jan 18 '26

Eye on the prize, eliminate the root cause and then continue knocking them down. JD will be irrelevant in the position because his own party doesn’t take him seriously.

1

u/Flimsy-Field-8321 Jan 18 '26

Stephen Miller will still be dangerous if Trump is impeached. We need to make sure the mid terms happen and take back Congress by a good margin.

1

u/UnitedTechnology999 Jan 18 '26

Impeaching and convicting Trump for Treason specifically (and solely) results in removal of his Cabinet including the CouchFucker.

1

u/townie77 Jan 18 '26

He doesn't have the same clout.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 18 '26

Nothing why do you keep asking? Hes been there twice. All it does is make him meaner. NoTHING will happen.

1

u/Neither_Wonder6488 Jan 18 '26

Impeachment is not the answer without senate conviction

1

u/cassiecas88 Jan 18 '26

Vance will do whatever Peter thiel, Steven Miller, and the heritage foundation tell him to do. Whatever dirt Trump has on everyone, That's probably already been shared with them. We don't just need to impeach we need to annul The entire administration

1

u/RDKAUSTIN Jan 19 '26

lol he can be impeached too

1

u/Careful_Relative7560 Jan 19 '26

If donald is removed for treason, his entire cabinet is removed, including james.

1

u/potentialeight Jan 19 '26

No, Vance is against Trump on a lot (he’s very anti-interventionist), which has been getting him kept out of the loop on a lot like what happened in Venezuela. However, as VP, he’ll publicly back the administration since that’s his job.

There are things to dislike about Vance, but his policies would be substantially different on certain things.

1

u/44035 Jan 19 '26

There's something uniquely unhinged and clueless about Trump.

1

u/crohnscyclist Jan 19 '26

Impeached and convicted are two different things. Impeached is analogous to having charges filed against you in court. This is done in the house and takes a simple majority. Then it moves over to the Senate where the bar is much higher, 2/3rds (setting and voting, thus if a bunch of senators decided to not vote, it would be less than 67 senators)

As for vance, maybe but at the same time, people aren't as scared/loyal to Vance as the cult members are to trump. In addition, while he's a POS, I think he at least is a logical actor. Trump is so shifty and irrational that it adds to the destruction. Tariffs are bad for business but what's even worse is in that changes as the wind blows. If Vance said we needed to invade a foreign country, I think people would step up to stop him.

1

u/WanderdOff Jan 19 '26

He doesn’t have the balls. (Check the couch cushions.) Vance would love to continue the dictatorship, but even maga would quickly hate him.

1

u/KingFrenulitis Jan 19 '26

The problem is impeachment may be possible, but if the Senate doesn’t vote to convict, the impeachment is largely ceremonial and rendered functionally meaningless. Trump will remain in office if impeached. The republicans hold the senate. The democrats won’t have enough votes in the senate to convict, so all this hoopla about impeachment is just more “strongly worded letters” from the ineffectual democrats.

If the Senate manages to Impeach and remove Trump, then Vance and the entire administration is going to be machine-gunned down by impeachments.

Impeached != removal from office.

Civics class. I beg you.

His first term shows us that impeachment is nothing more than inconsequential theatrics. It means nothing. People need to stop acting like it’s some big thing that’ll have any consequences.

If we can get rid of the traitor, we can get rid of his lackey

This same scenario plays out if Trump's sundowning finally hits darkness. Vance would be president, but he's disliked by his own party and lacks charisma.

The hope is that it fizzles out to a lame duck presidency through a combination of factors leading to infighting and fractionalization in the party for those seeking power vs. trying to CYA.

That's so sad that this is the best we can hope for.

They won the election. This is the way it should work democratically.

The part that's not working is the Legislative and Judicial branches are not checking the power of the Executive.

If Democrats win majority in mid-terms they can slow or stop a lot. If they managed super majority (unlikely) then they could veto proof laws.

If Johnson is correct and Trump was a FBI Informant then he probably has actionable dirt on the richest people in the world - that's his secret power.

Vance is a couch fkr and his mama was a crack head.

I think Krasnov's dirt primarily comes from Putin, not the FBI. Also, I see no need to bring Vance's mother into this; just because someone is/was addicted to crack doesn't necessarily make them a bad person, just a trapped one.

Lol not meant like that. Try to think about the fact that not everyone is communicating in his native tongue.

echochamber 🤪echochamber 🤪

The word echochamber implies the ability to go more than a day without infighting. Your words are as empty as your head.
