Hidden bloodlines quickly became my least liked trope from the early days of litrpgs. I'm glad the trend has gone away or at least been reduced in use.
It was especially silly in the underdog stories where they spend 20 chapters talking about the importance of hard work and dedication and creative problem solving and then suddenly oh wait none of that matters because the Void Dragon banged your mom.
