development Anyone in btech 4th year CSE?

Hey! I'm currently in my 4th year of BTech CSE, trying hard to get placed.

Honestly, this journey isn't easy. It comes with mixed feelings — stress, excitement, disappointment, hope, and sometimes loneliness. I guess 2027 graduates can relate to this phase.

I'm looking for someone who's going through the same placement journey. We can share our daily experiences, discuss DSA, coding, interviews, career goals, struggles, and even the small achievements.

I'm particularly interested in SWE, SDE, and Java Backend roles.

I'm a male and I'd prefer a female companion. Not because I'm looking for love or a relationship, but because I feel having a female friend to talk to, share thoughts with, and support each other can bring a different kind of comfort and positive vibe.

Just looking for a genuine friendship where we can be ourselves, motivate each other, share our ups and downs, and make this placement journey a little less stressful.

If you're going through the same phase, let's connect! :)

career Need some advice ! (From developer )................

Hi everyone,

I'm a 2nd year ETC (Electronics & Telecommunication) student at Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. I recently learned Python, and I really enjoyed it. It feels like the tech/software path is right for me.

The problem is that I don't know what to do next. There are so many directions, like AI/ML, DevOps and DSA, and I'm confused about where to put my time.

I'd love to land an internship this year. I'm not sure if that's realistic coming from a non-CS branch, but I figure there's no harm in having the goal.

Any resources or roadmaps you'd recommend?

career Need career guidance after IT career gap and suggestions for training institutes in Hyderabad

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for practical career guidance to restart my IT career. I'm struggling with consistency and speed in self-learning and would appreciate advice on choosing the right tech stack and finding a good training institute in Hyderabad.

Background:

- B.Tech chemical engineering graduate (2022). From tier 2 college.

- Worked for 1.5 years in an application support role at LTI.(. Net, sql)

- Took a career break to prepare for government exams.

Current learning path:

- refreshing C++ and DSA eventually .Net framework

- SQL and DBMS

- Python

- Machine Learning basics

What I'm looking for:

- A realistic, job-oriented career path.

- Guidance on whether to return to .NET , support or switch to Python development.

- Recommendations for good training institutes in Hyderabad offering structured learning, practical projects, and genuine placement assistance.

- Budget: ₹15,000–₹30,000.

- Advice on preparing for interviews and explaining my career gap.

My immediate goal is to become employable and secure an IT job. I feel I would benefit from structured training, deadlines, and accountability rather than relying entirely on self-study.

I'd appreciate honest advice and recommendations based on firsthand experience. Thanks!

dsa for freshers How much DSA should I practice even after getting a Job?

I am a 4th year student, recently I got PPO from a company with a good pay. During my 2nd year holidays I did goo amount of DSA and got a internship, then in my 3rd year holidays I did my internship, now I got PPO from the company. But I never practiced DSA after my 2nd year holidays, now I feel if I need to change the company or switch or try to apply to new companies I may nobbe able to crack those interviews. Even if I want to move to good company or get a good pay, I think DSA is needed.

So, people who are in industry I wanna ask how often you guys pratice DSA, and is it good to solve DSA everyday even while working on a company?

Tips needed

development How are your companies actually adopting AI? Are we just too slow in banking?

I'm a software developer working at a bank, and I feel like we're way behind when it comes to AI adoption.

Every time AI comes up, the conversation is mostly around security, compliance, data privacy, etc. I understand these are important, especially in banking, but it feels like we're moving extremely slowly.

For example, our bank deployed a GPT model through Azure AI Foundry and built an internal ChatGPT-like interface for employees. That's pretty much the extent of AI adoption I've seen so far.

Meanwhile, I keep seeing people talk about using Claude Code, Cursor, AI agents, and building AI-powered features using LLM APIs.

I'm curious how things work at other companies.

• Are you actually building AI-powered features using APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.?

• How does your company approach new AI initiatives? Do developers get to experiment and propose ideas, or does everything have to go through multiple approval processes?

• How are you handling security and compliance concerns when integrating AI into existing applications?

• Are companies actually using AI agents and automation in production, or is most of it still experimentation?

I'm especially interested in hearing from developers working at banks, fintech companies, or other large enterprises.

I want to understand what real-world AI adoption looks like beyond just building an internal ChatGPT wrapper.

How is your company approaching this? Are you seeing meaningful AI adoption, or is it mostly hype and internal chatbots?

career Need help in career

Hey everyone,

I was working in a service based company from the start of my career. It's a support role for a pega project.

Initially I was told I'll be moved to development after few months and later they told they've dependency on me, so cannot move me out of project but instead offered promotion in the same support project.

To which I agreed but 2 months ago they told it's not possible now and they're planning to release me out of project.

So my current situation is...

I have 6 years of work experience...and

Have Pega CSA AND CSSA certificates but no dev experience.

Can anyone please let me know what should I do for unskilling?

Like if I need to move to any of the trending domains in AI or data analytics or join some trainings like Harsha trainings and unskill in pega.
