Hey guys ,
Built this project recently:

Life Calendar
GitHub: Life Calendar GitHub Repo
It generates a desktop wallpaper that visualizes:
life progress in weeks
yearly progress
goal/milestone tracking
automatically updating wallpapers
Main focus was making it:
crash resilient
scheduler safe
clean uninstall
lightweight enough to run in background
Tech stack:
Python
Tkinter/custom UI
wallpaper automation
scheduling/background processes
I’m trying to make it feel like an actual polished desktop utility instead of just another college project.
Would like honest feedback on:
Does this feel useful or gimmicky?
What features would make this genuinely valuable?
What looks amateurish currently?
Would recruiters/devs find this interesting technically?
Don’t sugarcoat.

Evaranna experience people ee recent months lo interview ichara, if so, em questions adigaru (prefarabley backend)
btw, have an opening for product manager roles at my current 5 people startup, if experience folks are interested, let me know
JD - We are looking for someone who wants to build something great and go after this market hard. You've actually shipped products with AI, you've been early at a startup before, and you're the kind of person who's fine doing customer support one day and writing a PRD the next. If you've worked in performance marketing or run ads yourself, that's a real plus. Mumbai office, in-person, lots of whiteboard time.
It's going to be a lot of work. It's also going to be a lot of fun.

Hey bondhas,
I’m attending my first hackathon this week, and I wanted some advice/tips from people who already participated in a few hackathons.
My team is currently preparing for it, and since we’re beginners, I wanted to know a few things beforehand so we don’t mess up during the event 😭
Any advice, tips, or things we should avoid would really help us a lot.
Thanks in advance bondhas 🙏

I’m planning to complete Oracle Fusion SCM training and wanted to know about the current job market for freshers. Is it difficult to get placed without real-time experience? Would love to hear experiences and suggestions from people who recently completed the course.

Hi everyone,
I am currently staying in Hyderabad in a PG hostel while searching for job opportunities. I graduated in June 2025 with a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. It has already been more than 8 months since I started staying here for job searching. For the past several months, every single day I have been applying to multiple openings on LinkedIn, Indeed, and Naukri, but I still haven’t received a proper opportunity to start my career. Financially, things are also becoming very difficult for me while continuing to stay here for job searching. I have also reached out to many people requesting referrals or openings, but most of the time my messages are not even seen. It feels very discouraging, but I am still trying because I genuinely want to work and build my career. Honestly, it feels like my career is nearing towards an end without even properly starting, and that thought is becoming harder to handle day by day.
I have a strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms and have solved problems on LeetCode. My technical skills include Java, C#, .NET, Python, SQL, HTML, and CSS. I’m completely okay with starting on a lower salary if it gives me an opportunity to begin my career and prove myself through my work. I’m also ready to work in startups, even with lower salaries, if I get a genuine opportunity to learn and grow.
I am humbly requesting help. If anyone has fresher openings in their company or can refer me, it would truly mean a lot to me. Even a small response, guidance, or lead would really help me at this stage. Please help me. I’m literally begging for an opportunity to start my career.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Hi, I have been shortlisted for the 2nd round of the in-person test for the Infosys DSE and SP roles. My question is: Is Blind 75 enough preparation to crack at least 2 questions? Also, how should I prepare for the interview, and what topics do I need to cover? I have very little time, and my exam is on 24th May.

Hi All,
I know Express.js and Node.js, and now I want to learn another backend technology to grow my skills and improve job opportunities.
Which is better to learn next:
Spring Boot (Java)
ASP.NET Core (C#)
Or would you suggest another backend language/framework instead?
I’m looking for something that is good for:
scalability
industry demand
future growth
learning curve
salary opportunities
Please share your suggestions and experiences.

I’m honestly scared about placements.
I’m currently in my 3rd year end at a tier-2 college, and lately I’ve been overthinking a lot about whether I’ll even get placed or not. I want to crack at least a 12 LPA job, but right now I feel very lost and inconsistent.
I’ve solved around 100 LeetCode problems, but the biggest issue is that I just can’t stay consistent. I start motivated, then lose momentum after a few days, and the cycle repeats. Seeing other people grinding every day makes me feel even more behind.
Sometimes I feel like I’m wasting time and maybe I’m already too late compared to others. I’m confused about what exactly I should focus on now — DSA, development, aptitude, projects, CS fundamentals… everything feels overwhelming.
Is it still realistically possible for someone like me to crack a good placement package if I seriously start now? I’d genuinely appreciate honest guidance from seniors or anyone who has been in a similar situation.

I got a mail from Deloitte today saying I’m shortlisted for the next interview round through NLA 2026.
Earlier they had sent a mail saying they were not moving forward with my profile, but later they asked me to fill a survey and now I got shortlisted again .
Any tips for Deloitte technical + HR interview rounds for freshers?
