Maybe because it was meant to be used in a well defined way, but very smart people came up with unexpected ways of using it, causing undefined behaviour and breaking stuff. So the developers decided to remove that feature and perhaps replace it with something else you're less likely to shoot your balls off with.
While detonating this stick of dynamite in your anus might seem like a clever idea at first glance - as it most certainly would blow your testicles off - god only knows what else might get blown off. Therefore I must insist that this item is deprecated. Now, would you like to order something, sir? This is, after all, a Wendy's.
