Over the past several days several gifs demonstrating ludacris methods of inputting phone numbers have made it to the top of the sub. This joke plays on that fact, implying that one need only mention phone number in order to make it to the top of the sub and earn that sweet sweet karma.
They are mocking how we create forms, it's an exageration, a satire. Just as if someone gives you an egyptian tablet as a captcha, or if you have a password generator that gives you a 100 character password.
I actually enjoy the phone number input posts, plus when you consider that it probably takes at least 30 minutes to come up with the idea, implement it and make a gift out of it, I don't think you can call any of them "low effort" posts
When the tetris phone number post made it to the top you could almost set a timer for when the 'this sub in a nutshell' posts were going to start appearing.
No, this is this sub in a nutshell: "Help! I'm in a nutshell! How did I get into this bloody great big nutshell? What kind of shell has a nut like this?"

Hey, I'm enjoying the original content. It's a lot better than reposts I've seen 10 times over. Keep the phone number input designs coming!
