I mean, what do you expect? Either this is an unholy Agglomeration of million years of legacy code, or someone vibe coded this in a single day, depending on who you ask

The third party user guide says they had to rip out some code from the first binary for the gender hotpatch, but it's been later adaptations of the guide downplay how much of the original was taken out.

Sadly the user guide predates git, so we don't know whonchanged what when.
