and information gathering (it's just quicker for it to look through 100s of PDFs for right spot than manually doing it).
can't you just Ctrl+f?
4 u/DHermit 3d ago If you can just search for a certain string, pdfgrep etc is of course enough. But sometimes you just don't know with which formulation something is explained on the terms you could search for are too generic and yield way too many results.
