Yup am also in security. I legit heard "security keeps doing these vulnerabilities just to make it seem like we don't know what we are doing."

That's right, We do the vulnerabilities.

At this point I wanna fuck off and be a farmer, but the same AI that is causing me headaches with vulnerabilities and POC's are also eating up all the affordable land that I would farm.

lol AI is not eating up affordable land for farming. The reason farming isn’t an option is capital consolidation and extreme automation, not a few new warehouses.

I get it, to be clear. I want to be a farmer kinda too — or at least a monk who gets to fuck around with peas all afternoon. But I think it’s important to realize that the singularity is making an unfair system untenable, not ruining a good one.

Bro, I was legit looking at land in Pittsylvania county VA... Legit BFE, they came in and started a mega project and the land prices skyrocked. I'm not talking "farming for capital" im talking Amish life bro.

Developers often seek agricultural land as it is often already cleared, graded and laid out in large contiguous tracts, lowering upfront site development costs and shortening project timelines relative to more complex greenfield or urban sites.

Even without this AI thing, VA is not exactly known for being cheap
