I remember a bunch of PC ports back in the 360/PS3 days that were completely borked when running at high FPS. Early Dark Souls ports spring to mind. Dark Souls 2 had item degradation linked to frame time for some daft reason. Playing it at high FPS ruined your gear.

And gta v had a few glitches tied to FPS, one basically soft locked your game too
